      I tend to find that the lowend SLR cameras use SD cards…. I dont think SD transfer speed as as fast as CF.

      Canon 60D is SD, but the 50D uses CF. This might be the trend for the mid range SLR.
      
      I very much doubt the high end (5D/1D or the Nikon counterpart will be using SD any time soon).
