Someone mentioned that Pool and Spa Warehouse have been a bit quiet of late, so they have kindly put together a deal for the OzB community!

Given the recent dry spell and windy conditions, pools have been covered in leaves and rubbish. What better way to celebrate father's day and to get the pool ready for summer than to get one of these Poolskim Automated Pool Surface Cleaners?!

I recommend these highly if you have a leafy pool. Well worth it.

    • Yep, these are great.

So how much extra does it collect on top of the normal skimmer? I would have wondered if the return flow was already (yes gently) pushing everything towards the skimmer as it is.

  • I have had one for 6 months and I would have it over any other pool cleaner.
Best money ($159) I have ever spent on my pool.

  • Sounds like a good one and I need it.
Do you just connect one end to the skimmer box another to the auction vacuum cleaner?
Anything I should be careful of?
I have a Poolvergnuegen 4X Four Wheel Suction Side Inground Swimming Pool Cleaner. But I don't have a threaded input.

    • This unit actually goes on the outlet side so your skimmer is used as normal

    • "Unlike most pool skimmers,** the PoolSkim is not connected to your pump.** The PoolSkim attaches to a standard 1&1/2 inch threaded return jet located on the side of your pool — where the water flows back into your pool. The jet of water going through the body of the PoolSkim creates an effective venturi that draws surface debris into the floating hat and collected in the clip-on bag."

  • So how does it work with the creepy crawler? Would this reduce the suction ?

  • Ordered one Thanks OP.
Seen mixed results on YouTube but worth a punt to try and solve the age old question of how to stop leaves clogging up the pool 🤣

I've been wanting to get one of these but I need to find an adapter as my outlet is unthreaded.
