    • good to hear :) hopefully see you there!

      • I think the round trip to Moore Park would cost me between 5 and 10 bucks, so I'm not sure I'll bother, but it's an interesting idea from HN, and thanks for sharing!

  • remember many shops had this lowest price guarantee and at the end they couldn't do it because it was below cost price??

    • I don't believe that it really is under their cost price.
They just say that so that they don't have to sell it at that lower price.

      • cost price will not effect the deal, no need to worry.

    • Doubt this would phase Hardly Normal anyway, seeing as they make so much money as is. It's more of a publicity gig IMO.

  • dick smith have it for $69.94 so are they going to sell it for $59.94

    • the normal US price

just remember the dick smith price is online only. At the moment the cheapest price in store appears to be target at $79.00, making our Moore Park price $69.00. Once you factor postage into it, we should still work out cheaper than dick smith :)

      • Another Harvey Norman deal / guarantee that is untrue once you get there. In your ad all it says is it will beat the cheapest price. The cheapest price in Australia is $69.94 therefore if your ad is true you must sell it for $59.94. You do not have to include postage in the cost as i dont include my petrol in the cost of the game when i drive to your store

        • the ad says the "cheapest legitimate local advertised price in Sydney" meaning any local bricks and mortar retail store. Dick Smith at this stage appear to be selling the game at $79 in store, and $69 as an online only pre-order. As per most bricks and mortar retail stores, online prices cannot be matched. Should any competitor advertise cheaper than $79 the price will be altered to reflect this.

        • i dont know what you think holds up the dick smith warehouse but im sure its the same bricks and mortar you use

  • +1

My dick smith said they will sell it for $69 to me in store if I buy between thursday-sunday.
