I was browsing through the KFC app today and saw that they have a new $4.95 box available before 4pm.
Included in the box:
- 1 original recipe piece
- 1 tender
- 1 regular chips
- 1 regular potato and gravy
- 1 dinner roll
Optional- add a drink for $1
Not sure if this is nation wide or NSW only.

You don't actually have to do the survey - just write any random 5 digit number on the receipt and hand it over. I've been doing this for the past year and a bit at various KFC outlets.
I've also made friends with my local KFC manager who allows me to stack the vouchers. Most I've ever stacked is 3 x free chips and drinks. Sometimes he just gives me the same number of large chips instead of the smalls.
Well you don't actually have to do the survey but it takes literally 3 minutes and it's helpful feedback for them (or at the very least numbers for the managers)
If they find that people are taking advantage of them like this - do you reckon they'll continue?
Most of the time I don't do the survey unless there's been outstanding, or poor, customer service. Or if I've been served by a friendly person with a "Trainee" badge I'll do a positive feedback naming them as doing an excellent job.
The last time I did the survey was regarding an incidence of poor customer service, and my manager friend, bless his heart, gave me $15 credit for use on my next visit (which I also stacked with free chips and drink) :)

Do you have to do the survey and redeem it "within the next 3 days" or is that just for filling in the survey and redeem it anytime?
You can fill it in any time - I've done a 3 month old receipt and still works lol
I just tried it on a 2 month old receipt and it said, "Survey expired". They must have changed it recently. But thanks.

Redeem at anytime. You can also do the survey anytime as well but you would need to put the date of visit within 3 days of the today date.

Nah, what I do is pay at restaurant and show them the receipt survey while paying - it'll come up with "Order Modified" on the new receipt and the free chips + drink will be listed "After Total"
Yasss I do this and it's great, also helps when you've got a fellow broke person tagging along with you who helps split the minimum price together lel
Now THIS is a deal! That being said, for the same price I can do a decent meal at home. But when in a pinch!

Hopefully it's not a mini can of Pepsi Max like they usually chuck in. They usually end up in the fridge for a few months before being tipped out because no one wants it.
