As I've said before, anything you see on Zazz is available cheaper elsewhere. (Their slogan should be "The Harvey Norman of the Internet")

Here is a product that works exactly the same (I own one) and is $9.65 AUD DELIVERED.

I do admit that the zazz product looks cooler (Edit: I take that back, the zazz product has a great big antenna sticking out of it!), but I don't think its relevant for a simple reason:

This transmits over radio waves, which means the quality is not very good and not really worth much anyway.

Basically the base unit transmits radio waves of what its plugged into, and your headset is just a radio that tunes to the same frequency, its that simple.

Yep, I had a set of almost identical headphones for a day, I returned them promptly!

Yes, they can receive FM radio stations; in fact, once you were any distance from the transmitter you couldn't stop them doing it!!!

Utter overpriced junk, save the money & put it towards decent quality ones with BT! ;)

    • I bought an almost identical set from the reject shop about 3 years ago and it was only $15. I concur entirely with the above statements about sound quality etc.

    • You do realise your ebay one has the almost exact same transmit and receive frequency:
      *Emission frequency:86±0.5 MHz
      *Modulation mode:FM
      *Emission distance:=8M(with no interference)
*Frequency range:86MHz for wireless headphone and 87-108MHz for FM radio
      *Reception Mode:FM

      • I don't quite understand what your trying to say :/

      • Exactly the point. Almost exactly the same, yet half the price.

        • Yeah but with this you are supporting those little Aussie battler who toils day and night in the coal mine with nothing on but the Aussie's flag, a pair of Ugg boots, a cold one in one hand and a remote in the other. On the other hand if you get the cheaper version you are supporting the possibly Asian, hard working, innovative and very likely quite good looking foreigners, but hey it's your choice if you want to be unAsutrailia.

        • I'm not sure if you are being serious AaronRain

But in reality, buying from Zazz gives money to China's economy while making the owner of Zazz more money then he deserves.

        • @AaronRain,

Yeah but with this you are supporting those little Aussie battler who toils day and night in the coal mine with nothing on but the Aussie’s flag, a pair of Ugg boots, a cold one in one hand and a remote in the other.

So are you telling us Jimmy Barnes runs Zazz??? :o

        • No, no, no that would be ridiculous, Barnesy only inherited 1/3rd of the company from his grandfather, Sir Edmund Zazz, also known as the first man to drink beer in Australia (which was how he got knighted).

  • thanks for saving me money this time.

  • Yup, thanks for the heads up.

  • I had a pair very much like these. I gave them away the next day. Complete crap, as another respondent has said: save your money for a REAL pair of wireless headphones.

  • Hi Anyone have idea about bt headset on http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?products_…
