      • +2

awww an honest student, you must not be struggling, or youd find somewhere to "borrow" paper from

        • Yes, any legit (aka. povo) uni student would "borrow" it from anywhere for free, courtesy of uni mates, parents, workplace etc.

        • the day i found the computer lab where you could print for free was the day i could die a happy uni student

        • the day i found the computer lab where you could print for free was the day i could die a happy uni student

          reminds of this year

previous years it was 10c per page(we get free credie @ start of year)
this year(don't know if it is intentional or not) it is 10c per job(unlimited pages)
so me and my friends print heaps and heaps of random paper

  • +1

Thanks, just ran out of paper too! Now I don't have to go to the shops where I would no doubt spend money on other things. And a free calculator thrown in!

  • +1

Thank you. Very good deal since get free calculator also :-D

  • LOL, perhaps the rep read my earlier thread lamenting the postage on this deal? The postage certainly wasn't free then:
    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/39984

I think I'll buy it now.

  • nice. ordered 4 reams for $16.00 including a free calculator.

    • You should have done 2 separate orders to get 2 free calculators…

      • if i were after the $3 calculator then yes.

        • sell it on ebay

        • +4

A true bargain hunter would take any free item. :P

        • +6

ltwo should go in the Ozbargainer shame file…

        • +2

…. and then make little ozbargain babies….. ewwww

        • -2

to late jv, i'm sure broden already got the other 99 calculators

      • That's what I was thinking.

        • +2

JV, hardly worth the effort. i was never after the calculator, nor was it the "tipping point". i was after paper. it's just a bonus that they wanted to include the free calculator worth $3. totally going to ace my BA at uni now. without the calculator i might have only passed.

furthermore, the effort + incremental costs of selling a $3 calculator on ebay are not worth my time.

        • +4

totally going to ace my BA at uni now. without the calculator i might have only passed.

what if you calculator fails during the exam ???

you could have had a backup one, but now you won't….

        • +3

the free calculator IS the backup.

    • +1

      jv too fast…

  • +1

    welcome new rep

  • +3

Yay! 1000 sheets of paper bought, which I don't need :D

  • No calculators left.

  • Damn, no Calculators left :(

    • you might have been a little later than me… i managed to get 1 but when i went to make another order, calculator's gone.

  • excellent deal. thanks!

i bought 10 reams, paid $40 and received a calculator and 21 qantas frequent flyer points with everyday rewards.

    • +1

You'll be able to pass your BA with your calculator and then go on a holiday with all those FF points. Well thought out :)

  • +1

Thanks for this I ordered 40 reams

    • with 20 calculators??? :)
      or 1??? :(

      • +18

Somewhere out there, there is a forest tree weeping for his lost friend.

And a Chinese child furiously trying to put together 20 calculators.

        • We use alot of paper but it should last us a year or two.

        • BEST REPLY! =)
          +1

Haha but seriously 20 calculators… what can you do with 20 calcs?

      • it should be 1 calculator per order

      • I got 2 calculators and Mummy bought 2 reams and said I can have hers. 3 free calculators ftw.

      • 2, can't order more than 20 reams at once.

        • at least its better than one

  • Awww missed out on the calculator. Great deal nevertheless.

  • Yay, perfect timing.

  • Another ozbargained retailer!

  • I can't believe I nearly signed up to the Big W site in order to save $2.34, (and get a free calculator) :)

    • You don't need to sign up. Purchase as a guest using paypal. Quick n Easy

  • Crub…

Any ideas if ours will come like this?

This picture is from the other reflex deal, only a few days ago.

    • Nah…I bought a couple of large items from Big W and they came in perfect order. The person who organises the dispatches calls me up before she books the driver.. then on the day, the driver even calls up to check if you're home before he delivers. I couldn't be happier with the 'personal' service!

      • Phew, ok.
I'm hoping since I only ordered 2, that it will be repackaged.

    • That damage was probably done by the postman as punishment for buying annoyingly heavy items that you could have just picked up at Coles.

  • Thanks.. was thinking I was running low on paper the other day, so this is perfect timing =)

    • Ditto. I was gonna buy some tomorrow so this was excellent timing.

  • Cheers, uni is starting soon so this will be good.

Might get the brother laser printer deal from officeworks as well.

  • +1

The standard price for the same at Complete Office Supplies is always $3.95, so long as you buy a minimum of 5 reems ($19.75 worth)

    • how to buy/order from COS?

  • -1

I bought the same calculator in early january at Officeworks for $1.00. It works but that's about all. Runs on 1.5V battery which will deplete your savings.

    • +1

Runs on 1.5V battery which will deplete your savings.

      why ???

  • +3

this is how my last order of Reflex paper from BigW arrived (from that last deal for $20).

    http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/3836/002zmr.jpg

I knocked it back upon delivery…. so I suggest you look over your order carefully before accepting it.

    • what if you're not home ???

do they require signing, or do they leave it on the porch ?

      • why don't you contact BigW or the couriers for compensation?

        • because i haven't received them yet, i only order a few hours ago…

        • i refused delivery and got a refund when it got bak to their depo. not saying all deliveries from bigw arrive like this, just check consignment before signing for it.

    • +4

This wouldn't happen if you paid a bit more for the quality customer service that Dunder Mifflen could provide!

      • that was great.

        • +1

          THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!

      • Sweet comment. Ta.

    • wow, that's horrible

    • Yep, mine was pretty beaten up to. Only a little of the top ream was actually damaged - as far as paper - so put up with it, box however was a complete disaster. Very underwhelming.

  • anyone know if OW would Pricematch?
looking at image above i would rather buy from OW/

  • +3

If you are in Perth and want to pikcup 2 free calculators let me know I have no need for them.
