The hidden cost is the fact that you have to fly with Jetstar at the expense of a respectable airline.

    I've had numerous poor experiences with Jetstar. I now refuse to fly on any airline but QANTAS or their partnered airlines internationally.

      Yeah, fair enough, each to their own. I've been flying with Jetstar 5-6 times per year for the last 10+ years and have never had a problem… ever!

      Have flown with numerous good airlines including Jetstar (which is a division of QANTAS).

Man nothing against the OP but is there something happening from April 4 where there’s no sale prices from Sydney to Melbourne? I have to be in Melbourne April 4, but Virgin and now Jetstar have no sale flights on that day …
