Not true, I signed in the other day for about five minutes just to see what had been added in the last couple months but quickly turned it off, only 2 people actually play.

Only this one. The first one has no single player campaign, though it does have a couple of modes you can play friend free.
Bf1 is, except the single player only lasts a few hours.

They are still updating this game to this day. It should have been done at the beginning before everyone boycotted. I still enjoy it. Single player is worth.
Damn. And I just paid $28 for it at EB Games yesterday. Oh well, I had a gift card and EB is closer, so all good.

It is a very nice campaign IMO. Personally I bought and sold it already but will buy it again for multiplayer once it's cheap on PSN. Multiplayer seems good to very good, although I only played for a couple of sessions. Seems more casual than most FPS games, which I like.

It's certainly far more casual, and in a good way. I'm semi-decent at CoD, and semi-decent at BF2. BF2 doesn't punish you for being a poor sharp shooter. You can get score by playing objectives, supporting others and so on. CoD, eh - if you suck at twitch shooting, you're ded.

With destiny 2 just being added to PSN this month I would bet BF2 will be added to the PSN free list in the next few months.
I know 3 people that still play regularly but they say lately servers are empty or they end up playing on Japanese servers. I stopped playing about 4 months ago because of the lack of team balancing. You are either the steam roller team or the steam rolled. Wasn't much fun. Very rare that you would get a good balanced game that would last to the end of the map instead of being all over in 5 minutes.
Don't support EA guys.
