I’ve had the problem that my IPhone is already pretty low on battery by the time I’m on my way home from work. And it’s not like I use my phone overly much – just the usual business calls, a bit of gaming during lunch break. I’ve been told to buy one of those backup batteries, but they’re SO expensive. I just decided to buy one of these here: Portable USB Cable for iPad and iPhone4. Only S1.80. It has pretty much solved the problem as I can keep a cable at home and the other at the office.

    But yeah cables are handy if you have a computer to plug them into :)

      The portable batteries aren't that great, the battery decided to get so fat it popped the black case and had to be thrown out after a few months. You pay for what you get.

      Pretty sure these will struggle to charge a iPad properly, a different one is needed.

      The real apple ones have little push buttons on the connector that allow easy unplug from i<apples>. I am afraid, you need to more expensive portable version from an apple shop!

          yeah that's true
          my sister had the 1st gen ipod nano with the push button on the sides, so that it won't wreck the connection part of the ipod
          now they do not have the push button anymore

    Thank GOD it's portable. I wouldn't want to be weighed down by a cable that needs to stay in the same place!
