How do you find the quality of the picture?
Yes, i am curious to know others commenr on picture quality
Had this unit for a week now. Overall picture quality is excellent however it requires some careful manual adjustment to enable it:

Unfortunately the stock settings are just sh*t.
Also if you're sitting bang centre give or take, it's perfection. The viewing angle does start to drop off quite dramatically the more lateral you go though.
Fastest response time tv I've ever owned in terms of starting up and switching between apps etc.

Is this better than the x9000F Sony series?
Here's a couple of reviews from rtings (probably the most detailed reviews I've ever seen). They're not too far apart but it looks like the Sony just has the edge. Have a read and decide for yourself.
I think the NU8000 is more comparable to X850F? That is going for $2,078 which might be worth pulling the trigger?
