how much additional playtime can be expected with this case?

    • It will vary base on game play.

The Nintendo Switch has a 4310mAh Lithium-ion internal battery and this case is 6500mAh, so I'd say about double the battery life.

Note, the case will almost double the size and weight of the Nintendo Switch itself.

Does it have USB PD? Otherwise it might not charge the device quick enough for use.

Can confirm it not USB-C PD (DC=1.5A), so game that are resource intensive (ie. Zelda) will drain the battery faster then it can charge.

    • There is no PD fast charge, but according to our test,
when playing the game keep charging. At least to ensure that the power of the game console does not consume. and also we thought the sale price is very fair for this product, this 6500mAh case at least can use for 3 hours really depending which kinds of game.
      thanks for asking .

  • Cheers will be useful for long hauls :)

How do I know which model I have?

I like how it comes with a “comfortable angel” to enjoy with the games!

Be careful with 3rd party chargers and docks for the switch.

Some users have reported bricked switches. I cannot speak about the quailty OP's charger/case but the switch doesn't use PD fast charge rather its own protocol. The video by Wulff Den does a great job explaining it.

[EDIT: meant to reply to AirMartino345's comment]

Link that video to the OP.
I wouldn't trust any 3rd party, non-Nintendo certified charger or dock with my Switch.

(Without going into lots of detail; Nintendo aren't conforming to any "normal" USB standard. As such, every unofficial Switch USB-C device has the potential to brick or cause damage to the Switch.)

I wish Nintendo just chose to use a normal USB-PD type standard. Alas the only thing I'm comfortable using 3rd party is a charger while my Switch is powered off.

    Buyer beware.
