  Playing through it at the moment, it’s quite good. Enjoying it more than the reviews suggested I would. Looks great on X as well.

  Excellent story driven FPS. If you like old school shooters pick this up (after playing through the first (new) one).

    Wouldn't call it especially story driven. Finished it last week and I can barely remember why the game took me to each area. Outside of the main base it was pretty much just run and gun (or stealth) combat pieces. Great game but the story was pretty light and certainly inconsequential.

      Well not too sure what game you played… but there's more story in this than the last few COD games put together :/ …. each to their own though!

        Not saying its a bad game (it's great!), just the plot was a bit all over and an excuse to get you into different set pieces than anything else. There was however 2 or 3 scenes I thought were pretty memorable and well done including near the start and one other around 2/3 of the way through (without going into details, the 'interview' one). In terms of story telling though perhaps the level with flashbacks to BJ's childhood was the best.

        I'd suggest FPS fans play it though. My disinterest in the plot didn't detract at all, same with the original. I loved the flexibility to the combat and that 3/4 of the time you could use either stealth or head on run and gun as equally viable options.
