This is an excellent price for the NU7100, bought one last week and its a fantastic tv for the price. I and am only disappointed by one thing, this model is the ONLY model of the current gen Samsung series (that I am aware of) that does not have Bluetooth and hence the latest gen remote controls with voice and slim line remotes ( look forward to typing things in with abc123 like a nokia 3310 again). These things have ancient bulky remotes with more buttons than required and feel janky in comparison to every other model above it, was seriously disappointed.

  • How is this compared to the expired sony one?

Bravia is King. I'm a Sony fan, even with their smartphones. Although Samsung has a massive market share now, back in the early 2000's Samsung cosied up to Sony to build their TV's in the same factory, mainly basically nobody in their right mind aspired to have a Samsung in their homes at the time. Call me old fashioned but for me thats enough said.

      • Some of the lower end Sony LCD's have surprisingly poor contrast because they sometimes use IPS panels which product a significant grey glow during dark scenes. I've found Samsung more reliable in this regard.

  • I am planning to order sony KD65X7500F. Would you recommend this TV or Series 7 NU7100 4K Samsung TV (UA65NU7100WXXY)

    Pls suggest,Thanks

    • The Sony KD65X7500F has an IPS panel, I wouldn't touch it.

      • Thanks, I will go with Samsung
