  • I'd love to hear thoughts on Joe Average using these, any significant risk of harming the paint / clear coat or is it pretty straight forward, follow a pattern and use common sense?

I know years ago I was told to steer clear of the cheap ones.

Who owns one or used one? Thoughts?

This appears to be a random orbital/dual action polisher, so it should be safe to use. It will not be effective for scratch removal given its limited power, but should be ok for light polishing and wax applications.

      • That'd be the exact purpose for me buying it. Thanks

With such a large pad and small battery powered motor this will be very painful to use IMHO. Better to you your arms Danielson.

    • What do you recommend for home user. Just for a basic waxing or polishing. I have very fine cleaning scratches on car and also water spots. Id like to have a go at removing them.

  • Just be warned that supercheapauto doesn't stock replacement 240mm toolpro bonnets. Not sure if rockwell bonnets suit it i just got my money back instead.
