  • Is a $1000 pram best for the baby or the parents image?

    • Definitely image.

Are you speaking from experience? I nearly crapped my pants when my wife told me she wanted one of these 6 years ago, but it's now had 6 years of use with two kids and is still going strong. It's light, incredibly easy to fold and unfold and strong - sometimes we've ended up pushing our 5 year old around in it while carrying the 1 year old because they're both exhausted.
We have a cheap stroller and have used plenty of others with family and friends, and the Bugaboo has 100% been worth the cost.

That being said a $100 pram still moves your kid around, just maybe not as conveniently or easily.

          ^^^^^^This right here^^^^^^

Speaking from experience, spending more on a stroller is one of the best investments you can make as a new parent.

The advantages you will get from having a lighter, stronger and easier to work stroller far outweigh the few hundred dollars you will save buying some back-breaking piece of garbage.

Sorry late reply. Yes experience. I am the stay at home dad to 3 kids. 1 and a half, 3 and 4. With no car so tons of walking etc. All done with a $200 Big W pram that we purchased for the oldest and that has never had a single issue and the youngest still rides around in it. And not once throughout all that time have I wished it had any other features of the $1000 ones. Have used a Bugaboo as friends have it. I stand by the "paying for name" as the price does not really justify the cost imo.

  • This seems to be the usual price on the linked site; is there a discount?

Cheap for the pram, I wonder if they are old frames they are getting rid of? AFAIK the new frames are all black.

I've had one for the past 18 months, it's been great.

They are expensive, but the quality and functionality is there. They also hold their value quite well.

reusable shopping bag for $1. I dont recommend the 15c ones

  • This is normal price it seemz, also available on bugaboo outlet.

  • Looks like they have dropped the price to make room for the Fox. Used to be over $1500.

At least the Bugaboos pass the Choice safety tests, unlike many strollers on the market. Cameleon 3 and Fox get 90% from Choice.

Then again the Dymples Royal 4 wheel got 91% from Choice, and was the top rated of the 23 strollers that met safety standards.

    It's $99…

  • It's the new price as they are clearing it out since it's going to be discontinued I believe.

Was there buying some accessories for our one over the weekend and that's the vibe I got from the Bugaboo sales person.

  • This is 40% off the usual RRP. Best sale price on non discontinued or non clearance items are 20% off
Reason for the price drop is due to the cameleon being discontinued as mentioned previously.
I know cause I paid 1399$ for this 4 weeks ago.
Crapped my pants when I saw the price drop. Luckily I haven’t opened it. Managed to return it for store credit.

    • I bought it 8 weeks ago; opened and used it probably 2 weeks ago. Oh well…

  • Are they Dwight proof?

  • To also add to this the current model bugaboo bee is on sale down from $999 to $699 at babybunting from the 12th - 29th September saw this when i was in-store at Melville WA.

Thats a big saving on the Bee which normally only drops $100 when on sale.

Bugaboo are the most over priced and ugly strollers on the market. I have no idea why anyone would buy one.

Try Joolz instead. Otherwise save a fortune and get a Redsbaby

    • It has been discontinued, was previously $1399.

The base comes in both optional all black or black/silver.

The Bee5 was also on special about 2-3 weeks ago for $699 👍🏽
