    Australia wide?

    • from their T&C: Valid within Sydney Metro area
Should be included in the title.

  • Don't these sorts of things end with a massive sales pitch to buy the steam cleaner or something?

Correct me if i'm wrong, if not, seems really cheap for steam cleaning a house.

    • You can actually buy a steam mop from Woolies ATM for $39! ;)

A pro clean includes picking matted hair out of carpet (by hand), and would cost at least $200 and take 5-6hrs.

Therefore I posit this is not a full Professional STEAM CLEAN of standards that eg a landlord would accept when finishing a rental…

  • "Deal valid for average size home (up to four bedrooms and two bathrooms). Not valid for vacate/bond cleaning, window cleaning, oven cleaning or cleaning of internal cupboards and surfaces. Excessively dirty rooms may incur additional charges. "

Hmmmmm… why isn't the living room included in "all rooms in your home" ?

maybe bcos when they have finished with the rest of the house, they'll try to get you to get your living room cleaned too. And how much..? That'll be only $399 extra lady..

or maybe they use the term hallways for living area

Industry standard quote for steam cleaning is $20-$30 per 5m x 4m room, so this is indeed a very good deal

  • This is not Steam-Cleaning the carpet, but just "disinfecting" the surface of the floor coverings with hot steam jets.
Professional Carpet Steam-Cleaning involves getting the carpet wet with a cleaning solution, then quickly extracting the water out again (similar to washing clothes in the machine), which this, most definitely, is not.
It doesn't get down to the bottom layer of the carpet to extract any dirt, just kills surface germs.
That's why this method is not acceptable for vacate/bond cleaning.
(Only carpet steam cleaning is the way to go for really clean carpets.)

    It's a totally different process.
