@yolo123456789: Yep, buy at this price…then return with the old receipt. Keep the new receipt for any warranty issues with your already built kitchen.

        • Honestly if it wasn't THAT long ago you can probably bring your receipt to the returns and exchanges desk and get a credit or something for the difference.

        • ohhhh righttt yep that makes sense. Will give it a go!

  • Fantastic! Been looking for a couch I can maneuver into my apartment. Cheers OP :)

  • Great price on Duktig. These were $200 in the Eastern states a couple of years ago.

Just a note on the EKTORP.
Reviews at Product Review suggest the quality has nose-dived recently. https://www.productreview.com.au/p/ikea-ektorp.html
    caveat emptor

    • Can confirm. My wife was very unhappy with our 3 seater ektorp bought in 2014, and which was replaced in 2015 by Ikea (as it was sagging / not giving support, giving her a sore back when sat on). Then after a few years the replacement's seats were also sagging towards the middle and centre, and causing sore backs. After complaining to Ikea, they initially were implying it was normal wear and tear, and a case of "looks fine to me". Went to the big Ikea Tempe store, and saw that the floor model there had the same lengthwise crease marks in the bottom cushions from folding inwards when sat on. Sent them that photo, saying it looks like a design flaw to us, when no other Ikea sofa had these creases/folds, yet our ektorp did and their floor model ektorp did. They abruptly changed their tune, offered a refund, and collected it this week, and we're waiting on the refund to come through now. It's a real pity, as my folks have this sofa too, from the early/mid 2000s, and theirs are still going strong. So in my humble opinion, somewhere between roughly 2005 and 2014 they've cut costs and quality, or changed something in the manufacturing process, and the unfortunate end result is that it just no longer seems to be the product that it once was.
