Hi Everyone,

We've dropped the price on a 3D TV today. Finally cracked under the $1000 mark!

It has a Samsung panel and comes with 2 sets of 3D Glasses.

Comments and suggestions always appreciated.

HD means what? 1,366 x 720p or 1,024 x 720p?

  So not Full HD otherwise they would have mentioned this in the specs. So you don't get get full benefit or 3D and bluray movies. Just downscaled content to standard HD resolution.

3D movies on disc are usually on Blu-ray and 1920 x 1080 resolution. Therefore, in my opinion it is ill advised to spend $999 on a tv with a resolution of 1366 x 768 and yet 3D. 3D make sense in 1920 x 1080. Samsung plasma with 1920 x 1080, but no 3D have recently been advertised for less than $800. It is for these reasons that I feel that I must negative this offered deal. A more realistic price would be between $600 and $700 for a 1366 x 768, if you must have 3D.
