  • there was 15% off gift card somewhere earlier (like Target or Big-W)?
Not sure if that offer has expired.

  • That colour though!! I would jump on this if it was a different colour.

    • Yeah, green is the worst colour. Even yellow isn't too bad, but green!

But that's the colour of the croc they used

      • +1

        That's a load of croc.

Cheers OP, nabbed a pair. $109 is good value for these. Shocking colour won't matter for home use.

    • +1

No worries man. I grabbed a pair. $109 for what you get can use them for movies at home…exactly.

  • +1

These headphones are great and an absolute steal for $100.
Bought mine for almost $400 two and a half years ago.

  • +4

Perfect as I'm colourblind and couldn't care less about colour. My first purchase from Catch in 3 years. Thanks OP

  • I picked up a pair of the black ones when they were on sale for $135 a month or so ago. Couldn't be happier with them. Fantastic quality, excellent sound etc. $99 is a ridiculously cheap price for headphones this good.

    • +1

has to have aptx these days or it's a non-starter

      • these have aptx?

        • nope, but it still sounds very good

        • @homersyd:

But useless for watching TV or movies with

        • @gringo: why is it useless for TV and movies? That was going to be my main requirement of it, what does aptx do?

        • @lonewolf: I guess it helps to reduce the audio lag while watching movies/videos

  • +1

been eyeing these off since they first dropped to $149 - absolute steal at $99 with free shipping thanks to a unidays 10% off code!

    • +2

wait what 10% code? doh! how did you get the code?

  • thanks OP! bought 2 (one for wife one for bro)! :)
I have a black one already and they are awesome quality, pretty comfy and nice build quality and sound! ~$100 shipped is a steal!!!

  • +1

    Grabbed one.

I was looking for a relatively cheap active noise cancelling headphone.

You can find a super detailed review of this headset here: https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/parrot/zik-3-0

    Don't forget the cashback ;)

Wow, "an integrated digital analog converter" amazing tech, who would have figured that wireless headphones have an integrated DAC?

    lol.

  • +1

Do you reckon you could paint them?

    • depends what the material is. maybe a good quality vinyl paint would work

    • This should be added to to the maim post.

      • +1

It says out of stock for me

  • with afterpay and black

  • +1

These will match my lemon-yellow shoes perfectly!

    • You are such a cool kid :P

  • Thank OP . Always wanted to buy them . A treat at this price !

  • Anyone use these for mixed office use? E.g. music interrupted by regular Skype calls? Any good or is it weird that your ears are isolated from the microphone when on calls?

    • one of the great features of these cans is that they will automatically let in the outside noise when you're on a call, so you wont be screaming over the phone…

      • Thanks Homersyd, thats exactly what I did when I tried using my Sennheiser cans with an inline mic for this, only did it once and now I have to swap out headsets whenever a call is incoming. Bought :)

  • +1

Most of the reviews don't appear to be very flattering on sound quality unfortunately, I am in the market for a good set of wireless headphones.

    • Well, considering even Bose QC35 have very average sound quality in comparison to proper open back headphones I wouldn't hold too much hopes.

  • Can these be used with a tv? (No Bluetooth)

  • +5

One can tell the Ozbargainer by his green earphones.

  • 10% off at catch @Unidays if you're a student (pretty much equivalent to free postage in this case)
    https://www.myunidays.com/AU/en-GB

    • @boomlogical How to get discount via unidays?

      • You need to study

        • damn my student log in is expired! thought there was another OZB way

  • I was first attracted to this bargain by the ugliness of the colour, but the deal read "real GOOD!". Damn, they've sold out :( and I'm chasing them elsewhere now.

    • +3

be quick to get the "Grain Caramel" color one, price dropped.

      • Thanks xmchen, I wasn't sold on the green ones but snagged a pair of the brown.

      • Yes, I spotted the Camel's and ordered @ $99 (no charger) and since received. LOVETHEM!

    • Available for $129 with Qi charger.

  • Updated: now with Qi charger for $129

  • YOu reckon after this is sold out red should go on sale?

    • Red is on sale right now, $99 with the charger…

  • is the Qi charger worth the extra 30$?

    • I have one - not really in my opinion. simply because u clearly cant use it during wireless charging, while you can use it while charging via usb.

      • Hang on i am confused, i thought the whole point of it was that it can wirelessly charge your headset while you are still using it? So you cant do that?

        • Nope, its the same as Qi charger with a phone the device to be charged has to sit on the "plate"

I suppose the plus side is you can sit it on the charger when you are not using it so it will be ready to go.

        • @geebee: haha, thats a bit silly, so no real advantage over just charging it with a cable and like you said at least with the cable you can still use it.

  • +1

I actually prefer the green.. no Idea why but grabbed a pair with the charger.

  • Anyone knows what’s the return policy on this ?

  • I just got a pair of these, but I cannot get them to work as a Bluetooth headset on my work Dell computer, which was the main reason I bought them. They connect and will work in "Headphone" mode, but I cannot get them to work as a Bluetooth headset (i.e. the mic doesn't work, nor does the Headset mode of the phones). They work fine with my Galaxy S8+, just not on Windows 10. I tried them on another of my desktop computers (which has a different bluetooth dongle) and same problem. Googling the Parrot forums, it seems a few people have this issue and Parrot has done nothing to address it.

Also the Parrot supplied Windows App does not recognise it. You have to connect to your smart phone to turn off the Noise cancelling, for example then reconnect to your computer. Someone has created a Windoes app for $8 that does work with the phones, to turn off NC, change the characteristics of it (I purchased it, which is not very Ozbargain of me :-). I had hoped it would fix my connection issue, but no luck.

If anyone has a solution I'd love to hear it, otherwise, be a little wary if you are purchasing them for use with Windows, there's a chance they may not work.
