Are There Any Unlimited 4G Wireless Unlimited Per Month That I Can Subscribe to? My TPG Internet at Home Is Way Too Slow

Hi guys, is there any 4G high speed (I really do mean high speed like 60 Mbps down/30-40 Mbps up like mobile 4G connection) with unlimited quota that I can have to replace my crappy TPG ADSL connection at home?

If there's any, please do let me know as long as it's a reasonably priced of course.

Cheers~

P.S. My area is not covered by NBN so that's not an option as of right now.

    No.

The largest quota is probably something like Ovo at 250GB for $119.

    • Ah damn, yeah very high speed but only 250GB quota at the same time. On top of that, $119 per month as well.

      Cheers mate

Don't think so, there's Vivid Wireless thats unlimited but I think you only get about 12Mbps down, I can stream foxtel but it has issues occasionally.

Closest thing I can think of is 200gb on my mobile broadband for $80 https://www.optus.com.au/shop/broadband/mobile-broadband/Pla… 24 months plan though and I have no idea if they throttle the connection though so no idea the speed, I tried asking Optus once and they said "3G" i think, but they also said the same thing with vivid, also I think you have to pay if you go over?

telstra plan $199 a month unlimited 4g just tether the wifi to whatever you need.

    • Yea, this is the only truly unlimited/"full"-speed option, but you will be throttled before other users if your local tower is under load.

    • Tethering is explicitly mentioned as a no-no in the t's & c's, although the reasoning is…. questionable.

      • Ooof right so bad deal all around

        • You get what you pay for. Can't get unlimited 100mbit/100mbit 4G for $1/month :) Can you scrap your ADSL to save a bit of money and put that towards your 4G instead?

      • Can't see where it says that in their T&Cs here for mobile plan unlimited data.

        Monthly Data (domestic)
Data is not shareable and is for personal use in a smartphone only.
Our FairPlay policy applies. Data is for use in Australia.

I completely doubt that refers to tethering.

Hi mate, thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to call them in the morning, definitely.

Just really sick with my 6-7Mbps down/0.7 Mbps up TPG ADSL internet that I have. What's funny is, my Kogan 4G internet on my phone is way way faster than my connection at home. It can go up to 60-70Mbps down/30-40 Mbps up, it's sooo much faster.

This is the atrocious levels of service and sky high prices provided by the free market at work. Isn't competition just great! It was such a good idea to sell Telstra, look at the amazing results.

  • Can you get Telstra HFC think it's 50mbps ATM unlimited $89 PM. See if they can add speed boost free and you'll have 120mbps.
