Not the fastest or best SSD on the market by any means but maybe suitable for someone just looking for a cheap SSD e.g. Upgrade old laptop.

      Absolutely! Upgraded two old laptops with Sandisk Plus 120 and 240gb for a mate, so far no issues and laptops are now getting used.

      Yes, for $1 it is. Not sure if people will notice it, but it is a marginally better performing drive.

          To clarify, it is a better drive, I'd pay $1 for that increased performance, but in every day use I'm not sure you'll notice.

    Looking to upgrade the HDD on an old Dell XPS 1645. Just wanted to verify compatibility before taking the plunge. I found the HDD description in the ebay listing below. I recall that 2.5" SSDs may come in 2 different thicknesses?

      HDD 2 different thickness, you have linked a HDD not a SSD
