Great price but not great seller feedback…

Yeah this seller screwed me over before, sold me a Xioami that was locked to a different Mi account, was a right pain in the ass and took 2 weeks to get a refund.
Google the name and you will see other people with similar complains.

I ordered two Mi A2 on Tuesdays and got them yesterday via DHL.

    No issurs with the phones

    • i got an A1 a while back, also no issues ….

sometimes it might be operator error as owners try to set up their phones, some people should stick to bricks n mortar stores so they can get support.

    • I ordered my A2 on Monday, got it on Wednesday!

      Top seller!

  • Bought from this seller last month. No issues. Received in 3 days from Hong Kong

    • Did the listing say the item was located in Australia?

      • Most of them. They did that so u don't have to pay GST.

        • If the buyer isn't paying the GST then is the seller remitting GST to the tax office?

        • @Underlord: Guarantee that the seller is not remitting GST.

      • who cares, it's all about delivery times, fine print on many listing for grey import says could be local or overseas stock, it's all about delivery time and if they pay DHL it's 3 days ….

        GST, ebay collects and pays

        • Not if the seller marks it as local stock. In that case Ebay doesn't add 10%.

        • If ebay does not collect the GST you may have issues with the import

        • @josho9: That is possible. Would certainly fall under the PayPal and Ebay buyer protections though. Worst case: full refund.

        • @team teri: are you sure that you would fall under ebay / PayPal protection? You have a claim against the seller for misrepresentation, but the ebay / PayPal schemes may not give you a full refund if the item has been shipped ex gst.

        • @josho9: They have 'incl GST' in the title of their items. If the shipments gets held up by customs and only released to me after I pay extra that would be a case of "not as described".

I wonder how customs has a chance of knowing which items shipped from overseas have had GST withheld by Ebay and which not?

        • @team teri:

mine came with an invoice which showed full value with GST. No extra cost was charged.

        • @csrnomercy: That's great news. I'm sure you used some discount code: did the invoice show the value before discount or what you actually paid?

        • @team teri:

I paid 625 for the phone after PLUSIT15. Received Bill of A$699 for warranty and inside another invoice of A$713 with GST breakup. No clue what and how they did but I did not have to pay extra.

Regardless, their listing T&C says no Import duty/GST for Australian purchases of less than $1000. So you are non liable to pay GST or import.

        • @csrnomercy: Thank again. My phone is cheaper. It might fall below TRS limits, but if they use they original amount on the invoice I could give it a try :-)

    Good seller 97% feedback

That's pretty low for an ostensibly Australian seller of high value electronics…

  • wouldnt people rather buy this over pocophone, i mean your paying 40 dollars more? explain how pocofone is better value, is the 845/6gb ram even an advantage from the s8? im sure in terms of screen camera, quality, waterproofing, asthetics, samsung wins

      I'd rather get the mi 8 256gb. $520

  • Will Officeworks price beat this? Item Location is Sydney and eBay.com.au?

    • Nah. Different model

  • Oh decent price! Expect them to drop even further over the next few months.
