  • Am having trouble getting this Paygrade voucher to work. Just says there was an error and to try again later. Any ideas??

    • It works for me as of 6:20am AEST. You might need to check with eBay.

      • Got it working on a new account, missed out on triple fly buys though. Anyone know why my main account might not be liking coupons?

Did you edit your eBay location to the US for the recent promos?

    • Did you use all capitals for the code ?

    Thanks OP.

  • Is it possible to just buy the head of this vacuum? Already have the V6 but it just flicks dirt around on timber floors.

Remove the rotating brush and clean it.

      • I'm with Greentea - it'snot about cleanliness, the Fluffy has a bigger opening on the leading side so that it grabs larger crumbs. The standard head just pushes them around as they hit the plastic before the brush.

    • Dyson sell spares direct from their website……surprisingly, they're not hideously expensive and delivery is fast.

However they will check your products serial number and if it didn't come that accessory when purchased new it can't/won't be sold to you. I know this from experience.

    Fluffy

    Are you fluffy, Tightarse?

    • Only his handcuffs. He's as smooth as your bottom @Scab

  • With the recent $100 vouchers, what happens to thr remaining amount if you don't use a full $100?

    • +4

They remain as credit in your account that can be applied to future purchases

      • Ah cool, thanks.

  • Bought one but I need to cancel it as it is not useful for carpet only hard surface.

    • The soft roller head is for hard floors, just buy the normal roller and you will be good

    • It should come with both in the box?

Not the fluffy. I wish I got the absolute as we just got a rug

  • Does anyone know how hard it is to clean the fluffy brush? I can see it gunking up every time I use it

    • On the V8 sometimes it clogs, it just pull the stuff loose with your hand (normally long hair) and it should be fine. Given up cleaning it fully as the hair really gets in there. Doesn't seem to hurt performance at all

    • It’s easy. I do mine once or twice a year. Just takes a while to dry

      • Do you take it apart to clean?

        • Just pull out the filter at the top of the barrel, then open the fluffy head and take out the brush parts. Rinse in warm water

  • 3.5 hr charge for 20 mins max use? Was going to buy it until I read this.

    • +2

20 minutes doesn't sound like long time for anything else, but it's actually quite a long time for vacuuming.

I live in an apartment and the absolute max I've ever done has been 10 minutes for the whole apartment. In fact, I got rid of my corded vacuum cleaner because the cordless is so much more convenient. I frequently take it off the wall mount and do little bits here and there. Previously, I'd be lazy so I'd wait until it was more dirty before pulling out and putting together the corded machine.

Dyson make good vacuums with poor batteries. 20 mins max use? Within a year, it becomes 10 or 5 minutes. All digital device now come with long lasting batteries. They could have changed their design so that you can swap batteries as those cordless garden or power tools.

      • -1

Everything they make is poor and overpriced

  • Is the mini motorised head to small to vacuum a carpeted 1 bedroom apartment? J need the animal instead?

    • Nearly exclusively use animal head on the V8. More practical and picks up more hair

    • +1

Motor head of my previous model one is not working and I used mini few times, but it is painful to use as it takes so much time. It is designed for couches or beds.

      • Dyson have a pretty good wrty. Did you call them?

        • Its been 4 years :(

  • +2

    Would not buy

    Have a v6 animal. It’s crap.

Major design flaw on this model. The inlet where dog hair/whatever enters the catch tub is overly small, it clogs constantly making it motor shut off.

Only way to clear it is to take off the wand and jam a knife in there to unclog it.

Waste of money if being used to collect dog hair

  • I hate eBay stores when they list a category and have zero items for sale.

  • Thanks OP
