  • aldi's doesn't say how long / how many strips

  • How are these powered?

    • Yeah this is a ridiculous thing to not include on the item page. All it says is safe low voltage so I'm assuming battery.

      • The ones at JB that change colors plugged into 240V im hoping these do the same ?

    • Pretty sure these are what I've got. Plug into GPO with inline switch.

    • Says "12W LED driver" so I'd imagine it comes with with a 240v adaptor.

    • Had a look and they have a power outlet plug and a switch, as per other comments.

Not sure how the "try me" button works in this case though.

      • Disposable coin cell in the packaging, at a guess.

The "Try Me" button suggests that these are battery powered.

    • This Try button is cleverly linked/connected to a tiny battery as a closed circuit at the back of the Pack and has nothing to do with operation of the unit once you take every thing put of pack and dispose of the above circuit . the whole thing is powered by an adapter

      • OK. I've not seen that done before.

power points are really in demand, say at kitchen, do people really dedicate one/few of them to those strips?

  • What's the output on these kinds of things like? Can you replace a desk lamp or similar? Or just way under powered?

IKEA LEDBERG LED lighting strip, warm white 3x25cm mains powered are only $9.99…If you don't need the extra length. Bought some the other week to use above my stovetop because it's in an old fireplace with no rangehood or light, works fine for me.

  • LOL. Bunnings have banned my PIA VPN. Can't even browse the website. "*&#$ 'em!" They're a pain to get to from where I live and don't ship anyway.
