      No every country has our clean hard water. Many places in China (mostly southern) have pretty shitty water that isn't even recommended to drink.

      For us, it's probably not needed at all, and ultimately an extra cost. I think these were posted here a short while back at $30 a filter, expected replacement every 6 months

    Sorry I dont get it. What does a smart dunny seat do? If there was such a thing as a smart dunny seat I expect item 1 on its agenda would be to find a new occupation. From the app in the advert and pictures it appears that if you have any chinese guests around they can pre-book a timeslot to take a dump?? Some kind of internal finangle thingo does the same thing as a $5 can of Glen 20?. Does this thing sing you soothing lullabys and rub your straining abdomen when you are trying to back out last night's Rogan Josh and 16 beers!! I'm sorry, of all the things in the world we can automate I dont understand this one!

      Once you wash with a bidet you never go back. This one can prob track your shitting habits too so you know you’re on it for too long.

      I think the main benefit to get the dumping process 'smart' is to save energy. Things like turning off the seat heating function during mid-night or out for work.
      Also it links to MiJia eco chain so you can program it a bit more. Thinking of playing your favorite song when you sit down?

      You set the energy saving mode and check how much energy used.

      Also it links to Mijia eco chain.

      The Smartmi one is great which is I am using. This one has more functions.

    Does it need to be plumbed in and also you would need a power point close enough to the pan. Always see these things, but you'd have to really plan to put one of these in a bathroom from the start.

      It uses the water inlet same as the toilet. But yeah, it needs a power point close by.
      The installation process is fairly easy though.
