  • I paid $244 each for a pair on a recent Nanoleaf deal, buy 1 and get 1 at half price, with $40 dollars for postage. So $264 each. Not everyone wants to buy 2 packs, but once you start you'll want more.

Really now a cheap remote. Most going at $69 cheapest I think. Also after another 9 setter without rhythm add on to expand my current set. Tempted with this though.

If anyone has and questions about them fire away.

The other day I notice a brighter LED to 1 of the corners of 1 panel. Different to the others as the light is fairly even across the whole panel. Sent an email to CS. Received a request for details and picture. Then an email came back like the next day advising case closed. AHH. Replacement panel sent no return requested. Just waiting for it to arrive.

Didn't take long from Nanoleaf from HK. About a week.

    Good price.

    • Where have you bought your Nanoleaf panels from again?

      • Direct from Nanoleaf. Hence why so cheap. Only when on sale though. I had to pay full price for 1 and get the other at 50% off. Any chance of a deal with the remote if I get another 9 panel set? Your deal is good as on the Nanoleaf site it would be about $380 delivered.

        • Yes, we are only allowed to bring down the price during a special period for no more than 2 weeks.

We are trying to protect the market by offering RRP unless there are short-term sales which only happens like twice a year.

          • @Lectory LED Lighting: Just sent a request through website. Hope you can help. Can someone respond to that request this weekend?

cant wait for xiaomi or knockoffs to appear on aliexpress

its a few LED panels not a fusion reactor, so no way im pay $240 for these. right now theres no competition so the pricing is so high

    i agree theyre cool tho

    • There is a competitor LIFX panel. Square in a set of 5 which have a very thick profile. $400. Not as good though. No Chinese copy yet.

  • @furythree It works out to be about $30 a panel. Once you have a set you realise it is a reasonable price. $33 in this case. With the Rhythm add on not bad. I think I will get another set. It is a bit of a splash out for your room.

There is a new panel coming out so maybe these older ones may be superseded, but then again maybe not as just a different range. New are square and touch sensitive.

      older ones may be superseded

Yeah, photons are always being superceded.

    • The good thing about the Chinese companies is are they’re ruthless to gain a share of the market and don’t really care about the brand names… when xiaomi come out with one it will be rough.

  • These panels have pretty much stayed at the same price since their release. As the OP says they rarely have sales to maintain RR. There is a copy cat version already, but don't believe it is as good. Don't know how it compares in price. Yet to see a real competitor to these panel for matching features.

Just found that if you just want the panels without the Rhythm module its $249 at JB. $27 per panel. If you don't already have a starter kit get the Rhythm set though as it will offer for options with app and function of lights. JB did have the basic 9 panel set for $199 as its lowest price. Controller was down to $33 as well at one stage.

  • Had bought this last week from Officeworks, working really great till now. People who have bought this I would suggest spending another few bucks on buying Firefly Pro app from Playstore, it was way better than the Nanoleaf app.
    Here is the link
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fireflyaur…

    • @Urahara Whats the issue with the panel. Return to Officeworks or try CS Nanoleaf via email on their website.

      • Never said there was any issue with it. I said their app kind of sucks

        • Said working well till now. As on their app not so good. Whats good about other app?

          • @Melb69: The other app lets you select individual leaf color, also it is less jumpy than the nanoleaf app.

            • @urahara: You can choose individual colours with nanoleaf app. I havent had any connection issues. Have to checked your wifi signal. Is you modem near the lights.

              • @Melb69: I had many issues, while trying to connect plus their app on phone was really bad.
