    Not a bad deal, recently bought this tool but without the black oxide. Bogong has the normal ones for $175. Of course seen on eBay for ~$75 inc postage, but I bought one from Amazon US for $57USD

        Excuse me, could you explain to me what the AWL does? And what the thread loop does, I have a victorinox knife but never known how to use the thread loop =\ (AWL makes holes in wood?)

          Awls were originally used to punch holes in leather, the thread loop is for pulling thru leather thongs or other suitable stitching threads for leatherworking. It's becoming kind of a lost art nowadays with the increased use of synthetics.

          Some are designed a little like a tapered reamer for 'drilling' holes in soft wood too! ;)
