Step 1: Get a bunch of heavily discounted business cards from Vistaprint
Step 2: Get a $1 domain from GoDaddy
Step 3: Use the word FREE to get people to give you their address and make a list
Step 4: Sell list again and again and Profit.

This little list scam would have cost all of $5, well played.

Thanks for the link, just listened to this talk and it was one of the better TED talks I've heard in a while. I'm especially impressed by the story of how he started it.

Yeah…. there are easier and cheaper ways to get people to give up their personal info like postal address.

You should write that on a card so you don't forget.

There is a reminder on the web page to consider not printing.

And an option to print your own, or download the template for use by a printing company. These can both be obtained using a dummy email address.

I think the criticisms of OP's post are unwarranted. If you are into this stuff, it is free, you can use it for your own purposes.

If you aren't into this, move on.

Perfect timing OP. I just spent 10 minutes walking through Reject Shop looking for placecard for tabletop gaming. These'll do!
