      I've been playing it on my One S, it's fine to me at 1080. If you get a One X you will get 4K, and/or "Xbox One X Enhanced" textures and performance for 1080p (usually the 60fps).

      Xbox One X players will have the option to play the game in checkerboard 4K at 30fps, or play in 60fps at a lower resolution.

      One and One S are locked to 30fps.

        That's NOT true. It plays at NATIVE 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps on the X. Checkerboard 4k is what the PS4 Pro does.

        how does it look at 30fps? i've played fh3 at 60fps and it looks great, just wondering how bad it is on xbox with a 30fps lock.

          The Forza Horizon series has always used a motion blur technique to make the game feel smoother than it actually is. I've always felt that 30fps in FH games has felt smooth to the point where it feels higher than 30fps but not quite 60fps. And this coming from someone who plays the Forza Motorsport series too which is always at 60fps. The problem of course is when you've played it at 60fps and are so used to that frame rate. Changing to 30fps in that case would be more noticeable.

          In other words, it's all relative. Some people will notice while others won't.

      Without a doubt the xbox one x. Purchased one the other day with the Fifa deal instead of NBA. GTA5 played horrible on xbox one x. I dont want to imagine Red Dead.

    I'm spewing, paid $649 @ EB pre-order (Bundle 2) on 02-10-18 and they will not price match. (Yes, JB had the same bundle on the day for $569)
    All good. I won't ever pre-order again! Lesson learnt.

        Not sure … I'm sure that this policy has T&C's like their price matching which ultimately is up to each store.
        Mine (Airport West, VIC) said no.

          Are you sure it was the same bundle? I price matched the FIFA, FH4, F7 bundle from JB with EB for $569. Maybe they can't do it now because it seems that EB doesn't have the NBA, FH4, F7 bundle?

              Perhaps use a credit card price protection guarantee if available? However, may be hard to prove now since the EB bundle now has AC Odyssey instead of FIFA19 (for $599).

                @ShortyX: Yes i did. Pre-ordered before 02-10-18 and picked it up on the day.

                All good. I just wanted to make a point out there is that if you really want to guarantee a pre-order bundle with EB, going by my experience, you may lose money after purchase as they may not price-match. In my case, it was $80 I lost.

                When I called them on their 13 number, their T&C's they disclosed did comply with my scenario however their "get-out" clause is that it is up to the individual store to make the final decision. My store said no. They were apologetic very easily and I felt like I wasn't the only one in this scenario (or past scenarios)

                So in my view, the stores' ultimate executive decision to refund or not is their "Grey Area" of their T&C … which is rubbish IMO.

                Edit: I did call the store on the day 02-10-18

                With my previous experience with JB, I purchased a game before Boxing Day and then on the day it was $40 cheaper. They refunded me the difference. No questions asked.

                Therefore, I will suck up the money that I have lost from EB and then in future, purchase hardware from JB.

                Easy done! Lesson Learnt!

    Forza Horiuzon 4 is great fun had some issues with wheel G920 but after playing with the config is pretty good. Runs great on xb1, mate got the pack with the X.. he was going for the S but for $240 extra the X is a great deal..

    FH4 at 1080p 60 FPS in HDR on a big TV is glorious. If you play in that mode then change back to 30fps lock you'll vomit.

      NBA 2k19 really made this deal (and even better when was 2k19 and Fifa 19) Esp with FH4 on game pass. Frustrating though because just back from overseas and my OG xbox one has died.
