Eligibility:

  • Open to targeted areas on the Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast, and some areas of Geelong.
    (Once you enter your NMI on the signup page, it'll state whether you're eligible).

  • Your house needs to have a split system air conditioning unit controlled by a remote, a wifi connection and a smart phone.

Offer:
As part of the program you will receive a free Sensibo unit with a RRP of $159.

Sensibo is a smart device designed to automates the control of your air conditioner and saves energy.

Each time you participate, we'll set your air con to a maximum of 26 degrees for around 3 hours and we'll pay you $20, plus you'll go in to the draw to win a $1,000 RACV Resorts Voucher.

Payment:
You will be paid $20 each time you participate in an event for the full event period. At the end of the Energy Partner program Powercor will total your participation incentive and pay you in April 2019 by cheque.

Sensibo Device Installation:
Powercor will supply a wireless air conditioning thermostat device (Sensibo Device) to you at no cost to you. They will arrange for the Sensibo Device to be installed in your Premises by their installation partner at no cost to you. Support for the Sensibo Device will be provided to you by RACV during the term of this agreement.

On termination or expiry of this agreement you will continue to own any Sensibo Device that has been installed in your Premises and RACV and Powercor will no longer be obliged to provide any further support for that Sensibo Device.

    1 Dec to 31 March is the bonus period.
    You can order the free Sensibo unit now for installation between now until end of Jan 2019.

    Second event scheduled for today, it's way too hot today and 26° is too high. I don't think we can participate in it.

    An Energy Partner Event has been scheduled for tomorrow afternoon starting at 3:00 PM. During the Event we’ll set your air conditioner temperature to 26°C for 3 hours.

    You’ll earn $20 if you participate for the full 3 hours and go in to the draw to win a $1,000 RACV Resorts voucher*.

    Make sure your Sensibo unit is on and working and you are able to control your air con through the Sensibo app on your device.

    Some ways to prepare for the event include:

    Pre-cool your home prior to the starting time of the event
    Close blinds to keep the cool air in
    Close off rooms not in use or can be cooled after an Event
    Avoid using appliances such at washing machines, dryers and dishwashers
    Turn a fan on
    Go out for the afternoon.
