    Be careful if you plan to resell these codes on eBay. I was buying SSHDs when the last Assassins Creed thing came up and people bought them (and paid for them) super quickly on eBay. Then they filed a dispute because the goods were intangible. They won the dispute.

    I hassled paypal over social media (shamed them) and they caved. But if you try to resell these codes on ebay, expect scammers.

    For those who are thinking to buy and get the code, maybe avoid Shopping Express for now. I bought from them and they are claiming they have ran out of codes to give out and not sure if Samsung going to provide more to them so they are also kinda stuck. Now, I am not sure what to do. Haha

    I'd be willing to pay cash for a game code if someone wants to sell it cheap/don't intend on installing or playing. Bank transfer, paypal, whatevs.

    I'm thinking of getting this but too many people are saying they've had issues getting the codes. Has anyone got one in the past few days? Do retailers have codes left?

    Unfortunately after purchasing a 1TB 860 from Shopping Express and being told they were out of codes, I got in touch with Samsung on Twitter and they confirmed (after a while) that unless the part number on the invoice had "-ACOD" on the end they are unable to help.

    Apparently a "qualifying SSD" means it has to MZ-76P1T0BW-ACOD for example … :(

    I had also emailed the r.chan samsung address with no response either sadly.

    Asked Shopping Express on 23rd before purchasing 1TB 860 EVO and said I'd receive upon arrival of it, messaged when it arrived and all I got was an apology saying they were out of codes and can return for refund if I wish, a bit of a dog act to say one thing then turn around with nothing to give, guess it was too popular of a deal to give everyone a code. Have sent an email to r.chan but not feeling much hope for it.

          Yeah that sucks. I've contacted their support who escalated my request and said they'd get back to me. Initially they told me to contact the r.chan email, but I said I've done that and had no response. Will see what they come back with, here's hoping!

              Been on their live chat 3 times now. They keep saying they are escalating the case and someone will get in touch with me in 24-48 hours. Had not even an email back from them. Very poor! Going to keep pestering them though, I believe perseverance is key in matters like this.

I bought it from Shopping Express only because the T&C from Samsung says that we can contact them directly for the code if the retailer doesn't provide us with one.

    Sounds like Shopping Express are to be avoided in future. That's not cool. I wouldn't be happy if I were you guys..

    I purchased a 860 Evo 1tb from Umart in the end. Their support have also told me to email them for a code once I receive the item. I asked explicitly if I'll get a code, ie. 'do you have codes left?' and their answer was along the lines of 'yes, the promo is still valid, you'll get one if you order today'. Fingers crossed.

    If you purchase an SSD during the promo period, can you still get the code from Samsung before the end of the Redemption period ?
