    This isn't double status credits, it's 50% more.

    And plus this offer appears to be four years old anyway.

      yeah i know it's 50%, but i it's still pretty soon since their last promotion, that was my main point. i'm asking them on chat at the moment

    I can't find any chatter about a 50% bonus SC promotion on any of the flyer forums, they're usually all over it.

  If you idiots actually did some reading you would realize this is status credits which determines what QFF you are.

  For some this deal could be the difference between getting silver or gold, which is a massive incentive.

    Bonus Status Credit is way more important than Qantas Points for 3 reasons:

    1. You can't get status credits anywhere else except for paid flying.
    2. Enough status credits is what gets you the privilege of the extra benefits. Some times a double status bonus can score you from zero straight to Gold member if route booked properly.
    3. Status credits contributes to your life time status

  Qantas chat agent said this is an old offer, not currently valid. Also, no mention of it at https://www.qantas.com/au/en/frequent-flyer/member-specials.…, nor did I get a QFF email about it myself.
