Original P20TGGS 20% off The Good Guys on eBay Deal Post

Had a refurbished one of these given to me last year and I was very happy with it until it got a bit too much abuse during house renovations at the end of last year. I've been cursing myself since every time I have to pull our corded Dyson out for a touch up vacuum.

This model is exactly the same in every way to the white version (BCH6AT25AU) except Bosch states it has a max run-time of 50 min (black) instead of the 60 min (white).

These come with a 2 year warranty.

  • Sorry, you shouldn’t be abusing your vacuum and certainly not using one for a touch up. There are urban legends about this sort of thing.

  • better than v6 ?

    • I personally believe so. They are a bit more cumbersome but do a better job at cleaning rugs. After having tried my uncles V6 I feel like the Bosch has more suction (on turbo). You can easily use the lower power settings for hard floors - it still picks most things up and the battery lasts a long time.

  • I've had this for a couple of years. Works well and I recommend it

  • Oh yeah these things are awesome! Best handheld I've ever had, with the motor head it does a better job than my Electrolux Oxy on the carpet!

I own one purchased to replace a faulty v6. I agree with the comments above that it seems to have additional suction on turbo but there isnt anyway you are going to get near 50 mins run time more like 15-20max. Enough for kitchen/dining and two bedrooms. On low there is barely any suction and it just seems to push dirt around on floorboards.

Positives are definitely the additional suction on carpet. Its easy to clean and doesnt seem to get hair as easily tangled in the vacuum head as the dyson did, but there are some niggly issues - cant remove the head to get into small spaces (eg under couches / corners) and the head size is quite high compared to the dyson.

For the price (I paid similar) I'd still get this over the v6.

Agreed. Lowest setting is the one that can potentially last the 50 minutes but it isn't strong enough to do much cleaning. I generally use the setting just below from Turbo for hard surfaces and turbo for rugs. Each of those settings will likely last 30 and 15 minutes respectively.

  • These are great and definately picked up more than my v6 dyson, however the filters are a mission to get hold of… we have the pet version
