I was looking for this sound bar, which they increased the price to $300 after last JB HiFi wireless rear speaker kit sale. Looks like they decreased the price to $249 and combined with the 20% off deal, it is back at $199.20 AUD.

Personally I reckon it's worth $199.
I paid $195 back in January and have seen it dipped to $16x (can't remember the vendor or the exact price).
PS. Went to TGG for a price match and they gave me some lame excuses. Walked out and went next door to JB Hi-fi and got it matched (had to check that the website had a brick and mortar stock in Australia).
I agree. I think we can get it better, i.e., it is not the best price in its history. Bing Lee sold it for $169 or so in past.
Given that, I think some of us were waiting to buy this (myself included) after the JB Hifi Deal on rear speakers, as it is one of the cheapest model that works with the 8500S rear speaker kit. Also, I could combine with previous 10% off Ebay voucher from Paypal and reduce it to $179. Hence bought it :)

Can anyone comment on quality? Looking at getting a soundbar approx $200
I found that this sound bar can not go loud at all… the tv speakers went louder but without the bass. Fine for normal tv listening levels but a fail if you need louder I.e when watching live events with a few people around.
This or the Yamaha YAS-108B? TGG have the Yamaha for $250 on eBay right now.
Looking at the power rating and the RRP, I’d say this competes with the YAS-207, which would make this the better deal.
It's worth it. Picked one up from the good guys for $197 2 weeks ago and rear speakers for $50 jbhifi. Haven't connected rear speakers yet but good unit for my bedroom for both movies and music.
I paid $189 just before the "sale" with the 5% off code. The Good Guys raised their price on this by 20% before the 20% sale so you're actually paying more now even though you get 20% off instead of 5%. It is a good sound bar though, going well so far.
Can anyone comment on the Bose Solo 5 soundbar ?
(Genuinely) Do you think it is a good price @ $199, or we can expect to get this at little lower price in near future? I wish may be in future they would decrease the price to $199 and after sitewide 10% we can get it at $180
