    Chi-B, you've done it again!

  • Wonder if anyone can help me out. I clicked on the AU link and it says "Kindle titles are available for US customers on Amazon.com." and I can't "buy" it. When I click on the US link and "buy" it with 1 click it says "You attempted to purchase an item while in a different country/region than listed on your Amazon account.". So what can I do? My region is currently set to AU.

    • For each title, click on the US link, then "Continue shopping on the Kindle Store at Amazon.com.au". It will then have the regular "Buy now with 1-Click" button.

Yeah, it makes no sense to me, either.

      • I don't believe I have the "Continue shopping on the Kindle Store at Amazon.com.au" option. I have it the other way around. If I go to the AU site, then I have the "Continue shopping on the Kindle Store at Amazon.com" link. But when I try to buy it there, I get "You attempted to purchase an item while in a different country/region than listed on your Amazon account."

I think my region is still set to the US, contrary to my original comment.

Update: I have updated my region to AU which says "You are currently linked to shop on Amazon.com. Click here to learn more about other Amazon sites you are eligible to shop on based on your country/region of residence." but it also says "Great news! You can now shop for digital content directly from Amazon.com.au. Learn more about updating your default Kindle Store to Amazon.com.au". I can download from the US link but not the AU link. So confusing.

    • Did you originally register on the US site or the AU site? I registered on the AU site and the AU links work fine for me.

      • I can't recall but I believe it was the US site (when they were still shipping stuff overseas and when Amazon AU was still only selling books). I think my region is still set to the US, contrary to my original comment.

If you need 6+ separate books by the same author, then "learning it in 24 hours" is a lie

"To learn most of the features, it will take you months, if not weeks. In this short book, I will…"

Not the best way for an author to start a promo blurb about their book.

  • Thanks! I've been looking at some books to learn more in Excel - even considered doing an online course so this is great!

    • Hope it helps.

  • Heads up, no longer free for AU link.
