Hmm 800 return for domestic or 5500 for business. Ill happily put up with some minor discomfort on the flights for an extra 4700 spending $$$$

You and me both mate! Everyone's a little different.

    • Tell me about it, $4700 buys a lot of coke (acola) and hookers (fishing sinkers) in LA

  • Is this a Full Business fare (i.e. includes chauffeur on both ends), or discount business fare?

    • Unfortunately VA don't have a business class chauffeur service for flights to the USA, only on EY operated flights to Europe.

        • Usually excluded the fare bucket that business saver tickets fall under.

        • My bad there guys, didn't realise there were 4 business cabin classes to USA. J and C are more commonly known with airlines to be a first class cabin.

      • An employee for VA wanted to pass on this message anonymously:

We do have limo service for LAX but only on full business class fares (J and C class).

Haha, as if anyone on OB would be booking that, wrong forum OP!!

Some of us do at times … at some point the body doesn't play well with economy class (Y) due to age, disability, injury … or one just saves up for a special occasion. And on some rare occasions where economy is mega expensive (full Y fare) and one must travel on those dates, then the difference to J is more tolerable.

We've also stumped up for J price difference as a 'treat' for our parents when they've gone overseas - they paid for Y and we paid the difference for the bump to J.

Each to their own & YMMV.

    • I fly business class on VA all the time, don't be too quick to think that people on OB don't look for bus class deals. A deal is a deal ;)

      • yeah yeah

I remember when I was a poor student and had to fly business class. Thank god those days are gone. Still even as a student I didn't fly virgin!
