  • Is it realistic 8hours audio ?

    • +5

      I have tested both the TT-BH024 & TT-BH025.

The TT-BH024 was just a smidge over 8 hours and the TT-BH025 lasted around 8.5 hours, both at full volume.

      • +2

So is the noise in my head still bothering you?

        • +2

Just the voice telling me to eat more Ice-Cream :)

          • @xev: Have any other bluetooth earphones to compare to?

            • @rtk74: I have both Xiaomi Piston corded and Jabra Halo Smart Bluetooth.

The Jabra Halo Smart was probably the best I owned before I got the Taotronics range.

  • +2

I am not a fan of those in-ear earphone types. Just wondering if Bluetooth earphones ever come in 'normal' type (earbud shape)?

    • Do you mean without the ear hooks?

      • +2

        Please refer to this image

Left is "in-ear earphones", vs right is "earbuds/ normal earphones".

Do you have Bluetooth 'earbud' earphones?

        • +4

I see what you mean now. Unfortunately, they only have the in-ear type.

The rubber tips on the in-ear earphones provide a better seal and better sound and if you pick the right size rubber tips they can be quite comfortable. I have tested many of these and even after hours of use they don't leave my ears sore.

    • +2

Why not? Have you tried using in-ear earphones that come with different sizes? (i.e. is it a fit issue?)

      • Yes, but maybe the ones I have tried were of bad quality.

I shall try one of the ones in this post. They seem decent.

  • Just tried to purchase the bh024 but got this error:
The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

    • Hi mate, just checked the code and it is working.

You may be trying to use the wrong code or trying to use more than one code in a checkout session, Amazon only allows the use of one code per checkout.

  • +1

Code didn't work for me with the TT-BH025, but I bought the TT-BH024 instead. Can't really see a massive difference between them and I like the ear hooks anyway.

    Thanks OP.

  • Code not working with the TT-BH025, is the sound a lot different to the TT-BH024?

  • +3

Use the codes below the name for each product, not the code right at the top.

    • thanks, it worked now

  • I have the bh-07, is there any real difference between these and the bh-024 except a bit better battery life?

Looking at getting a second pair, great headphones.

    • +2

They are a different sort with the Earhooks which help keep the earphones in place even during a vigorous work-out.
The controls are on the earbuds themselves instead of inline controls and they come with a nice storage case.

  • What buttons are on the TT-BH024? Is there volume up/down and play pause?

    • +1

Yes, the silver circle you see on the right Earbud is the Power/Play/Pause/Call control button and there are Volume/Track control buttons on top the Earbud.

      • Thanks, I got a free trial of prime and will give them a go.

  • How long does delivery take to Sydney

    • They are fulfilled by Amazon so delivery is normally only a couple of days.

  • +2

Hi rep, what's the difference between the 25 and the 35? Thanks

    • +1

Hi Mate, the BH025 comes with an AptX chip, IPX6 waterproof rating and a longer battery life and is a higher grade product that the BH035.

The BH035 also sound great but just come without those extras.

      • +1

thanks man. ordering a bh025, already have one of the Bluetooth receivers and the quality is great. love your work

  • +1

Very nice deals, OP is there any way you could get us a deal on the Taotronics desk lamp? DL-13 or DL-19 that would be great thank you.

    • Hi Mate, there will be a new deal for the TT-DL13 very soon, we are just trying to work out the best day to do it.

  • +2

Thanks OP. Bought the BH024 and BH025. Was going to spend over $50 on one sport Bluetooth earphone over the weekend. Lil voice in my head suggested I check OZB first and this ripper deal shows up. Score!!

Edit: Have to buy them separately due to different coupon codes. Not a deal breaker.

    • Excellent :) Long live Amazon Prime!

  • Can anyone comment on how the TT-BH035 might compare to Bluedio TEs? I have been pretty happy with the TEs that I picked up for $15 when on special, but had them die over the weekend.

    • I can't compare them but the BH035s come with a 12-month warranty and an additional 18 months if you register the product on the TaoTronics website, so you are covered for 30 months in case anything happens to them.

      • Yeah, my bluedio ones are still under warranty too, but postage to send them back would be the cost of the headphones, and I'd still end up with headphones that have been used for a while.

I was hoping someone could tell me whether the sound is better on the TaoTronics ones… otherwise I'll just order the same ones again :)

***EDIT**** in case anyone is having the same question, these are bluetooth 4.2, the Bluedio is 4.1, so hopefully there should be less lag; incase that makes a difference to anyone.

        Will give em a shot

  • +1

Thanks OP. I bought the TaoTronics TT-BH025 and started the free trial of prime (need to remember to cancel).
I hope these don't suck too badly for the gym. My last headset like this were $150 jaybuds.

  • I have a pair of these, I forget the model name but one of the ones without the hooks, and they were great at first but overall I'm not impressed.
The rubber ear hook always slides off the plastic, and the audio is very prone to choppiness with movement or touching of the cable. Even a slight breeze.

Battery life is very good and audio quality itself is fine.

Overall I'd say spend the money on a better quality brand.

    • That doesn't sound right, send me a private message with your email and I will sort that out for you.

  • +1

    Good deals. Thanks OP.

    Have an odd issue though.
    Ordered 2x BH025s for $60.
Payment got declined but then cc was charged $30+$40.
Order details still shows up as $60.

    • +2

That is odd, Contact Amazon support as they handle billing and if there is a problem, send me a private message and I will speak to the Rep and try and sort it out for you.

      • cheers. Will do! Wasn't sure whether to contact seller or amazon in the first instance.

  • Also having the code not working on the BH35.

    • +1

You may be trying to use the wrong code, the code is C56Q9SVO

If that is not the issue then please let me know.

  • Hi,
Do you have any deal for the over ear headphone ? Similar to this one ?
    https://www.amazon.com.au/TaoTronics-Cancelling-Bluetooth-He…

    • +1

Hi Mate, not at the moment but there will be deals in the future.

If you would like me to notify you when there is a deal please send me a private message.

      • Yes please. Really appreciate your help

  • +1

AptX is not lossless. Misleading advertising.

  • Can i assume no good (APTX) for Samsung phones with latency issues?

  • +1

Thanks. Needed one of these wireless earphones for gym.

  • +1

Hi, what's the difference between BH035 and BH026? BH026 used to be the same price($19.99) as BH035.
There're quite a few BH0xx in-ear earphones and it's a bit hard to tell the difference. It will be nice to have a comparison table for them.

    • The BH026 has 8-hour battery life and IPX6 waterproofing.

  • +1

    Thanks OP, Purchased one

  • Hi Rep have a problem have tried to order the TT-BH025 AptX and it keeps bring up
    https://www.amazon.com.au/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%…
Which is $143 ..is this the same unit ?
    Any help great;y appreciated.

    • HI Mate,

I just checked and it is the correct one: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07H7HLGKK

Sometimes when an item sells out on Amazon the page then goes to the next least expensive, which in this case looks like resellers. Maybe it was just an Amazon Hiccup?

  • These would be great for the gym, thanks OP.

  • +1

None of these seem to support aptX HD
    https://www.maketecheasier.com/sbc-vs-aptx-vs-aptx-hd/

You can get other aptX HD earphones at this price!

    SBC
SBC is the standard codec used on most devices. It is mandatory for all A2DP devices. SBC has transfer rates of 193-320 kbps

    aptX
bandwidth of 352 kbps, lagging by less than 40 ms

    aptX HD
576 kbps bandwidth. 24-bit data at 48kHz, approaches the quality you get from wired headphones

Also TT-BH025 seems to be outdated model, replaced by TT-BH16?

    • +1

None of these headphones are stated to have aptX HD.

    • None of these seem to support aptX HD

Does OP's description claim they support aptX-HD?

      • aptX Lossless = aptx HD :-)
        https://www.whathifi.com/advice/aptx-hd-bluetooth-what-it-ho…

Unless TaoTronics invented their own special version of aptX ;-)

        • OP's description does not even mention aptX-HD.

          • @PJC: lol… because OP edited and removed 'aptX Lossless' after my comment ;-)

            • @bobz79: That is incorrect. OP replaced Lossless Outstanding Audio: with Outstanding Audio:. There was and is no mention of aptx-HD which is a different codec with a standard that approaches but still cannot achieve Lossless quality. Bluetooth bandwidth cannot deliver actual Lossless quality.

              • @PJC: aptX HD is also called aptX Lossless
                https://www.whathifi.com/advice/aptx-hd-bluetooth-what-it-ho…

                OP got the point!

                • @bobz79: It is called that, but it is not actually Lossless. OP's description has never referred to aptX-HD concerning any of these 3 products.

                  • +1

@PJC: It honestly doesn't matter. I've had sbc headphones which sound much better than these. I doubt you'd hear a difference on such a low end headset.

  • I just bought a pair of the BH025s. I intend to use them during exercise. Will post back if I have any issues

  • +1

So…the 24's have the controls on the earpiece and hooks, while the 25's have controls on a dongle and inner ear hook-things. Is it just me or do the 24's seem like they have better functionality? Yet cost less? Is there a difference in sound quality?

    • Not sure what chipset the 25's have, but 24 has CSR8645 chip, which is quite popular.

But as per the chipset spec it is only Bluetooth 4.1, so I doubt any of these earphones are bluetooth 4.2.
      https://www.qualcomm.com/products/csr8645

Looks like selling off old stock with inflated spec and prices!

  • +1

any chance of extending this deal again? wish to order one more! thank you

    • +1

I too would like to order @xev

      Today @ 0700 BH9H527K still works for the 25's

    • The codes were supposed to expire last night but it has been confirmed that they are still active,

I have started the listing again and will end it when the Rep advises me the codes will now finish.

      • +1

Update: The codes will be valid until midnight.

        • The NRAUSBQQ code doesn't seem to work, any chance you can confirm?

          • @GroundHogDay: It is still working for the TaoTronics TT-BH024s.

Each Earphone above had its own code, you may be trying to use the wrong one.

            • +1

@xev: I had successfully used the code previously and was looking to buy another pair as I was happy with the ones I'd received.

It seems the code only works once per account. (As I have tried on someone else's account and it does work)

Oh well, good quality headphones. I'm very happy with what I've received.

              • @GroundHogDay: I have been told that Amazon limits the use of codes to once per checkout session but you should be able to use it as many times as you like.

  • +2

Got the BH-025s last night. WTF Amazon..shipping a small earphones on a mammoth box that could easily fit 10 pairs!! On to the earphones, gave it a quick charge and paired with my phone easily. Took it for a run this morning, snug fit ensured that not once it popped out from my ear. The fit also ensured a good seal and a passive Noise cancelling. The sound from these earphones are excellent and yet to see a connection drop out. Would have loved a bit more bass but then again for the price I can't complain. Definitely a big fan of the sound clarity and mids. Buttons work as they should and not fiddly at all. Their 30 month warranty is definitely something out of the norm and only time will tell on how good these extended warranties are. Overall, quite impressed with these earphones and the TT brand. At this rate, I can see these guys becoming the next Xiaomi's in no time.

    • +1

      They nice and loud?

      • +1

Yep!! Great clarity doesn't have punchy bass but right up there in terms of sound and fit. So light that you don't even feel you're wearing them. No static noises when the wires rub against t-shirt. I am impressed to say the least :)

        • Cheers, thanks

      • I'm at about 40% volume and it's plenty.

    • WTF Amazon..shipping a small earphones on a mammoth box that could easily fit 10 pairs!!

I like it, protects the product, 100% recyclable cardboard.

I pretty much agree with your review except I think there is a LOT of bass already, it's just kind of muddy.

  • +3

I got my TT-BH025's today, been using them for 30 minutes.
EXCELLENT value for AUD$30. They sound much better than the Xiaomi Pistons. About 80% of the way to the $150+ Jaybuds I recently lost.
The mids are very clear, bass is a little muddy and the treble is lacking (could be fixed with some EQ).

    Pros:
    - Comfortable fit
    - Great connection and easy pairing
    - 3 tip sizes with wings to keep them in place while running, etc
    - Waterproof (works in the shower)
    - 8 hour battery life (I haven't tested it though)

    Cons:
    - While the audio quality is excellent for $30, it's not amazing
    - The AptX codec is wasted due to the poor audio quality of the speakers.
    - On my unit, the left ear tip is a bit dirty, I'd suggest washing them first.

Thanks OP, I'll be using these at the gym and in the shower from now on. Great to see this sort of tech has come down to $30 now :)

    • Are they water proof enough for shower?

      • I think so. My last 2 phones have been waterproof as well and never had a problem (upgraded for fun, not out of necessity).
Jaybuds were fine in the shower (I lost them after 2 years, they never broke).

I think these will be fine as well, so far so good, and only risking $30.

        • Mmm might go with that, I just had my ueboom die after living in the shower for 3 years

          • @Nalar: Yeah see, 3 years is fine. The disadvantage with using these in the bathroom is the xiaomi sonic toothbrush — can't hear the music properly while brushing teeth. Other than that it works all the time.

  • anyone find the TT-BH024 uncomfortable to wear? the groove near the ear buds sit outside my ear and it becomes uncomfortable after some time :(
