Samsung T5 Portable SSD 1TB $345 + Delivery @ i-Tech ($327.75 with Officeworks Price Match)

190

Cheapest price in recent times I believe from a local e-store. I have checked again the 20% ebay discounts starting tomorrow, this price is still better so far especially with OW pricematching.

Update: The shipping fee seems to be standard at $14. That means $341.05 with OW price match.

How about buying a 1T 860 EVO for $220 and add another adaptor case for $20????

    • it's larger for one and it's contained. I got a T3 very nice unit.

Agree. I got the T3 also, very sleek and small and easily kept in pocket.

    • No comparison, particularly if:
      1. Looking for a smaller form factor. These units are physically tiny and are designed purposefully to be portable (and up for rugged treatment in the bottom of a go bag). The 860 EVO (or Pro) are meant to be physically installed into a pc, laptop etc. even though they can be portable using a separately purchased cable kit.
      2. Looking for newer, faster V-nand technolgy.
      3. Built in encyption. Personally, I keep mine off (unencrypted) as I use my T5 acoss a variety of devices and os's.

      That's my two bob's worth.

  • Have T5 2TBs and they are excellent portable drives. Fast and semi rugged. They work well in Win 10 and 7 laptops plus Android phones and tablets straight ourmt of the box. The Samsung encryption app works well across all devices.

  • But officeworks they normally add the postage into price when price beating it. Right?

    • Yeap that's correct.

    • Depending on how vigilant they are. I had Officeworks price match Newegg on a 500gb T3 which didn't have GST included

  • Noooo..Just bought for $375.25@ OW yesterday!
