I agree with the above the caskmates is around the same price for 1l bottles and nicer!
This is regular duty free price which is still more expensive when compared (in Aussie $$) to duty free shops in Singapore, NZ or even Fiji.
No argument that duty free in other countries is cheaper but the original post was to note that this can be a last minute purchase on arrival at the Sydney duty free shop.
Opposed to lugging around 2 litres of grog during one's holidays.
I was in NZ two weeks ago.
Cheaper in Australia.
