It was always in stock, it just that the Amazon website showed this item as out of stock for areas where Amazon AU will not ship this item. I added ?smid=ANEGB3WVEVKZB at the end of the URL to this deal in order to get around this issue and always force the Amazon website to show the Amazon AU listing.
To illustrate what I mean:
With the original deal link (before my edit), a person in an area where Amazon AU would ship this item would see it as in stock, but a person in an area where Amazon AU would not ship this item would see it as temporarily out of stock.
After I edited the deal, a person in an area where Amazon AU would not deliver this item would see it as in stock, but the item cannot be delivered to them.

Historically they're one of the producers that sneakily added sugar and/or other sweeteners to their rums. Diplomatico—another OZB favourite—did the same thing.
Not sure if they still do it today, but they tricked people long enough to get repeat buyers.
