This doesn't sound right… Or something major happened to USD

      Sorry, meant $

after nearly 2yrs, they realised Donald wasn't a prank?

If anyone is wondering, these work pretty well and the compatibility is excellent across most major controllers. I bought it to allow me to use my WiiU pro controller with my Switch and it works great.

    • Came here to ask this very question. Thanks bro.

    • including xbox one? had a few bluetooth issues connecting xbox one to my PC

This just looks like an adapter, not the controller itself.

I wonder if that's why the post title is "8bitdo USB Wireless Controller Adapter"?

  • Personally, I'd recommending spending the additional money and grabbing a 'CooV N100 Pro'.

In my experience - using it on the Switch - it's a better supported unit (lots of and more stable option than the 8bitdo unit. You can also pull out the Bluetooth module and use it to plug in USB wired controller.

    YMMV.

    • Ozdj where did you purchase yours from? I want to be able to use my wii u pro controller. Does this work with an otg?

I picked my first one up on eBay late last year and grabbed a couple more when I was in Hong Kong last month.

I haven't tried with an OTG dongle. Is there a particular host system (eg Android, Switch) you're interested in? If I can, I'm happy to test.

        • the switch. Thanks mate.

@[Deactivated]: Tested as follows with a no-name USB-C to A OTG cable on a Switch running FW 5.1.0:

Coov N100 with an XBox 360 wired controller = TICK!

Coov N100 Pro with an XBox 360 wired controller = TICK!
Coov N100 Pro with a PS4 wireless controller = TICK!

Coov N200 with PS4 wireless controller = TICK!

  • Pretty sure op mentions this. "Good price on this adapter" unless this was edited after your comment.

I've been looking at something similar for a while and this is actually a decent price.

I'm just a bit worried about the store as many have commented about not receiving multiple products.

    • Yes I did edit it. Even I missed it. Happy to admit my fault.

  • Is this coming from within Au? Because how long for delivery?

  • Can I plug this into a PS4 to use an Xbox one controller on a PS4?
    NVM not for PS4.

cheers op. Pulled the trigger as this is the cheapest I've found and seen so far.

Payed with paypal and the conversion came to 12.12aud.

I've bought 2 using separate transactions, see if it gets honoured.

  • Thank you OP! Bought one!

    Lag Free NOT!!!

    • Can anyone confirm this? Want to buy these but don't want to experience lag. Tia

      • wireless always has some lag compared to wired

Have a look on youtube reviews and they claim it's not noticeable.

  • Dresslily….good luck getting your order. Still waiting on my battery charger I ordered with them from 2 months ago.

Received tracking ID for my order (which tracks on AusPost).

  • Received my order today. ALOT faster then I expected.

    • I've just checked my tracking and my package has already been picked up from brissy airport. I thought this was going to be a month or so exercise, hearing others experience dresslily.

    • Me too, very impressed.

  • Got mine today. Thanks.

  • Got mine today. Keen to try it on my wii pro controller.

  • Does anyone know if this still works with PS4 controller on latest Switch firmware? I can connect it but the buttons don't respond and have tried every guide out there.

    • If the sync is completed try put the switch to sleep mode then wake it up again

    • Did it work? I was pondering about buying one before i read your comment

  • I don't have a ps4 controller to test out. But the wii u pro controller works like a charm.
