Mods Discussing New Rules

Deals making asses of mods is being considered. These will involve the following…

If a deal like the DSE SanCruzer is posted again here are the new potential rules.

The OP will be banned one hour for the number of hours it stays up

The first 10 voters will also be banned for 16.8 hours each, unless the deal attracts more than 10 votes. The 10 votes are net votes so 12 positive and 3 negative count as 9 positive votes. Except where Mods declare such positive votes as negative votes

The last positive voter will also be considered as posting a negative vote.

When the deal is removed by mods then all penalties will be applied. Moderators will be encouraged do this when they see someone they dont like.

Any negative comments on this thread will mean the first person you refer to will also be banned for 23 hours, except where we receive 168 comments where only the first commenter will receive a ban that being 30 hours and the rest must post a new bargain within 23 minutes.

Those making positive comments will be eligible to be gang pressed into moderation service initial during the hours of 2 AM to 7:30AM.

      REASONS

      1) too confusing

    Sounds pretty simple to me. We're also distributing free calculators to all members so there shouldn't be any mistakes.

        Other mods think it's probably a highly devoted member, but I suspect they will be used to calculate profits from some PS3 sale.

      it's not a joke

      since the 2009-2010 financial year, scotty has been making a small loss, and therefore normal free members will have to face higher consequences.
      .

      There will be 3 types of memberships

      1) Basic: Free, which you get access to all deals(except hacks), but with this once the deal reaches 15 + votes(net votes), the deal will be no longer seen by basic members
      2) Premium: $1 per day(days of which you log-in), you get basically get ALL deals(except for hacks and freebies) regardless of vote count except for the existing rule of too many neg votes and no-one sees it
      3) Gold: $2 per day(days of which you log-in), of which you get FULL access, of which you get everything(hacks and freebies), so basically you will be able to get premium member access as well as freebies and hacks
      .
      To avoid paying the fees(which i think are ridiculous), a member must successfully report a member, each member reported is $1 off per successful report, however, if it is a failed report, consequences of an extra $1 will be placed ontop of the membership fees
      .
      Regarding the rules, these rules will only apply to basic and premium members, gold members will not face any penalties whatsoever
      Regarding syntaxes, basic members will not be able to use any whatsoever; premium members will be limited to syntaxes(bold and italics), premium members everything
      .
      Scotty has already planned to implement some rules, however he put them back until membership actually starts

          Although, I think donations are better than membership fees. But thats just my opinion.

    wow, clicking on this thread just killed a couple of hours of my time while i read this thread, searched for the DSE thread, read through that, found the EPIC THREADS page, went back through all of them, went through all the most +ve and -ve deals and comments, and 2 hours later, here I am..
