I'm calling a ripoff here. Have bought plenty of similar sets for my kids in the past from Kmart for $20 or even as little as $5 when on clearance.

      same here… melamine is cheap…

  • Yes, way overpriced.

  • Is there a big range in quality for these sort of products?

ie. there is a big price range in normal cutlery according to quality.

Was wondering if the same is true for this.

  • Hey Rep, Hey How much do you normally sell these at ???

isn't melamine evil? the less my kids come into contact with it the better

      this worries me too…

Follow the OSHA respirator regulations found in 29 CFR 1910.134 or European Standard EN 149. Use a NIOSH/MSHA or European Standard EN 149 approved respirator if exposure limits are exceeded or if irritation or other symptoms are experienced.

definitely not microwaveable. dunno how toxic it is if you just eat cold stuff off it. lots of babies died from it when it was added to powered milk, but in that case the quantity ingested would have been considerable greater.

    It's "designer" plastic… LOL at their website…
"Kiddie Up products will appeal to the 'purists' at heart who say NO to merchandised rubbish and YES to creativity!"
It's plastic for kids to eat off, get over yourselves.

Hey Guys! This could be a "bargain".

Borders might have them on sale at double the price.

This is the sort of stuff you see in David Jones on clearance, packaging all frayed and worn, gradually reduced down to only triple what you'd pay in Kmart for something similar.

Guys seriously, the designs are really good but get your hand off it. Try greeting cards or gift wrap. Lose the wanky senior titles (Executive Chairman? honestly?) and go for volume instead of ridiculous gross margin expectations.
