1080p, g-sync and TN panel in case anyone is wondering.

    • Thank you

    • Sounds like a perfect monitor for CS GO, hmmm

      • 24inch is better for csgo imo, however it's more preference and everyone sits at different distances from monitor etc

If only the IPS was on sale… :(

  • You would need a top end card to reach 240 FPS wouldnt you?

Os are games so old these days (CS GO, Dota) that a 1070 will do it?

    • It'd be quite possible to get 240fps at 1080p these days.

      I'd go 1440p though… But I don't game much…

    • According to https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Nvidia-GTX-1070/Rating/3609#Ga… you'd get ~201 fps.

I recently bought a 165 Hz (from 60 Hz). I am loving it. Everything is buttery smooth and I only have a GTX 1060. My next monitor is going to be 240 Hz+ for sure.

      • Same iv always used a 60hz now have a 144hz and a gtx 1060 holly shit mad difference

    • A mid range card can easily do it on lower settings & on most esports titles. but you need the supporting hardware at these higher frames CPU & Memory speed comes more into play.

      RX580 4GB in Overwatch with low settings, 100% render using a 2700k OCed to 4.8ghz & 1600mhz memory can pretty much sit at 250 - 300 fps.

Vega 56 can do it on high settings with 100% render

    • Cant say much on Dota as I don't play it. But for CS GO, you will actually need a good CPU to be able to reach 240 FPS, as it's a more CPU intensive game, I personally have a 1070 however my cpu kinda sucks, I can't get stable 240FPS, no matter what I try.

  • How are Acer with support?

Gotta send the stuff to Sydney to get looked at. Luckily PCCG will be doing that for me.

      • Thanks. I'm in Sydney, so that part is easy. Was wondering if they were known for dicking people around.

Good price. Dying for a wqhd 144hz equivalent.

  • Mwave also has it for the same price, which was probably what was what they were advertising before their comment got removed.

  • Great monitor. Personally I'm not a fan of 27 inch at 1080p for gaming. Can get quite pixelated since you'd be sitting so close.
