A friend told me the caramel one is delicious but every time they are on sale I read the nutritional panel and see that they have 330 calories each and die a little and can't bring myself to buy a box.
You aren't going to have a health difference between the regular maxibon and the caramel one unless you are eating these in large quantities.
Both are not too good for you…

how do they compare to Connoisseur which are similarly priced when on specialSure, just like Connoisseur with more biscuit and sugar.
When it comes to ice cream, Connoisseur is much closer to real ice cream than Maxibon.
Just look at the list of ingredients.
Maxibon is basically water, vegetable oil, milk solids mixed up with emulsifiers and thickeners to hold this goo together.
Connoisseur is using fresh cream and milk concentrate. They still use emulsifiers and thickeners because they add water to milk concentrate and want to maintain consistency if ice cream melts a bit, so it can be refrozen. It's not "real ice cream" but comes very close to it. I don't even know whether Maxibon should be labeled "ice cream". It's like they are selling orange juice without any oranges in it.
Connoisseur imo is way better quality, Maxibon is just Peter's vanilla ice cream with two biscuits.

since when did they increase their prices? it was only $4 during half price specials a few months ago.

These are awesome, decent size too.
Avoid the Cookies and Cream one (purple packaging). Way too sweet.
Most of their new flavours are bad.

If these were Krispy Kreme original glaze variety like the ones in 7-Eleven betcha by golly wow! I will load up a trolley and empty out my freezer for space :D
