Purchased! Make sure you untick the sneaky 'Add Shipping Insurance to your order ($1.11)'

    • Dammit, it got me! Created a ticket to try get it taken off. Beware people!

    • Came here to post same thing…grrr

I’m not sure the sound quality would be very good from these. The DAC must be terrible and cheap.

    • can anyone comment on the quality?

    • +12

For $1.45 the only prerequisite is that you can hear sound.

  • bought one, along with my $1 bluetooth earbuds from that other deal lets see if it ever turns up.

      Audiophile!

Seriously, I predict pain in your future

  • What is this for? Gives BT to a speaker without BT?

    • +6

      What is this for?

      Nobody knows, but it's cheap…

    • yes. but most people use this as a replacement for aux cord in cars. some use this as a replacement for headphone cables. some use this to increase size of landfill.

      • +2

Hmm pretty small, much better options out there for land filling

      • So you replace a 3.5mm audio cable (for aux) with a usb power cable? And this is something people pay money for?

        • Not much option if you only have a bluetooth earphones/headphones and a device like the switch that doesnt support bluetooth headsets.

    • Its bluetooth connection for anything with an aux

This thing has an internal battery and needs to be charged?
Looks like it and the battery won't last more than 2 hours unless you have a power bank or plugged into the USB wall adaptor all the time.

    • I guess if you can charge and play music at the same time, it'll do. My current one can't do both at the same time, so on long drives its just annoying.

    • I'd prefer it ran on a AA or AAA that can easily be swapped out.

I bought 3 of these from eBay a few month back. Sound & build quality was crap. sitting in a draw now.I have a earlier DeWalt Bluetooth adaptor which was on ozb a year or so ago & that one is much much better, however I think that was about $20. Id spend a little extra for your ears sake.

I second this. Main issue for me was you can’t charge it while it’s in use. Aside from the quality aspect.

  • I might buy something similar with better quality for my bluedio v2 to use on the nintendo switch.

Damn v2 doesn't have a 3.5mm jack and the broken English i get from the customer rep is that they'll release an adaptor later down the track. Because of the fear of the 1day deal expiring i hit the trigger without fully knowing what i bought. There's absolutely no hands on review of the v2 on the net that i could find.

Enough v2 rant… happy to take suggestions on good bt receivers…

  • Much cheaper than the Zapals one and has more buttons - so, you know - score.

  • +1

Don't bother with this. The buttons don't do what they're supposed to. It's cheap and nasty. Using it is an exercise in frustration.

  • I want the opposite of this for when I go to my gym. They have a video display in the machines (rowers, bikes, ellipticals etc) to watch TV with subtitles… it would be great to plug a bluetooth "sender" into the headphone jack to go wirelessly to some headphones… a battery lasting only a few hours would be fine.

  • do these work with the aeroplane plugs? linked with AirPods?

    • No. They are a RECEIVER, not a transmitter.

You need to search for "Bluetooth Audio Transmitter" that has a reasonable sized internal battery.
