Fishpond - Bronze Nintendo DSI XL $199 + Free Shipping

230

I was just browsing Fishpond when I came across the bronze DSI XL for $199. I thought that that was a pretty good price for anyone looking for a ds, and not a 3ds right now!

I don't know how long it's available for. They also have the yellow one for $209 if you're interested.

I have no idea how many people are interested with this, with the 3ds round the corner, but enjoy anyway :)

  • price will come down soon if you can wait…

    • This, plus given you can get the 3DS for only $100 more and it's out in 2 weeks, I don't see why you'd bother.

  • This is a good deal, I don't think the price will drop that much as DS Lites still sell for $150+ in store and $115+ on ebay.

It will have to be a more tempting dealfor me to do bidness with fishpond…

3ds is DS compatible so if you can afford it. Why not the 3DS ?

the dsi xl's screen is bigger.

      • Just larger, same number of pixels

i was going to buy a dsi xl but ebgame mention somethings to me that really put the idea on hold. I was told that all the new game in future will only can play with dsi 3d, so you can only play what available on the market atm. can any one confirm this?

  • Good post but I will wait for a cheaper price. Wish the 25th Anniversary Edition got released here

  • Good find, I've been waiting for it to go under $200.

Like someone said, so many games to play on the DS platform already, even without the 3D.

And if you want more than 3-5 hours of gameplay out of it, then the older DSes are the way to go

The longer battery life will keep the kiddies occupied longer and keep their minds off going to the toilet all the time…

  • Wait for the next generation PSP that will be released end of 2011. It will have motion sensing, touch screen, larger screen, better resolution and much strong graphics.

Nintendo is absolutely famous for their gimicks. This is yet another one that will lose steam fast.

  • @ joeno wtf do you mean another one? the DS is the best selling console since the DS so i dont know what the hell your on about. get you facts right wanka

    • settle down man.

"the DS is the best selling console since the DS" …. how can the ds not sell as good as the ds? lol. 'insert sumthing about getting facts right'

  • That looks very good, +1 because DSiXL normally retails for 260-300, and I don't think prices will fall too dramatically!
