How long it's a piece of string? Just make some calls to local electricians in your area :) I plan on installing then myself though, just some drilling into the eaves and crawling around in the roof space and it's done. It's not like you're wiring anything up, it's just BNC connectors :)

I'm guessing this is the better deal, with 4 extra cameras for less than a hundred more.
Does anyone know if these cameras are weatherproof? I've got one side of my house that doesn't have eaves would like to put a camera on that side though.

"do not expose the camera where rain and snow will hit the lens directly"…..
So that was a waste because I bought this thinking it was weatherproof and can be mounted at the side of my house where there isn't an eave!

Can someone advise if it’s possible to hook up only 2 or 3 cameras instead of all 8? I’m looking for something I can set up on a building site to detect and monitor for stolen materials etc.
Yes you can connect up to 8 to the hard drive, Each has a seperate cable.

Tried to price match at Bunnings Warehouse and I was told "We don't match clearances".
