  • Not sure about the display but the price is right ;)

    • What do you reckon is bad about it? Is it better to go for the Samsung model which has pretty much the same specs for $350? Do you think there will be a drop in price for 4K Monitors during black friday / cyber monday?

        they both have the exact same panel from innolux m280dgj-l30

        so it's up to the design/stand/build/warranty

    You’ll probably want HDR if you have an Xbox One s or x. This one says it has 10 bit rgb, which is HDR isn’t it?

      UHD means 4K and HDR so yeah it would. 👍

      • +2

        Hahaha

        10bit rgb =/= HDR

        hdr requires 1000nit brightness to achieve true hdr , else it'd be fake halfassed hdr

        uhd = 4k =/= hdr

      • Uhd means ultra high definition… not hdr mate

    I've got a 28" 4K (also AOC but different model) and my recommendation is to get a slightly larger model to make use of the resolution. I feel that 32" is the optimum size.

      I use a 32” 4K screen at work, it’s great for 100% scaling use (though some still find text too small).

      If primarily for gaming (OP seems to want for Xbox) a 28” will probably be fine since there won’t be small text anyway.

    I have this exact model monitor and have been using it for, I'm pretty sure, 18 months - 2 years now. It's really good, would highly recommend.

    That might actually be something to consider - the fact that it's been around for quite a while now means that there are likely better monitors on the market, but I haven't been looking around at monitors myself.
