It is also advertised all over the gift card sections inside the Woolworth stores.

Yay extra 5 percent staff discount brings $220 gift cards to $190 each :)

    • Do you get staff discount on gift cards too?

Based on the original post by Dave I would say yes.

      • Yep sure do :) all gift cards besides Woolworths branded giftcards

  • HEAPS of $50 and $100 gift cards at Woolies Town Hall (NSW). I mean H E A P S; looks like they restocked and it's packed to the rafters

Edit: Lady in front of me is buying $1000 worth

    • Yeah. I just flew in today and decided to pop in and check it out (as wife wanted some water). No $200 ones though but at least 80 x $100 GCs.

  • Myer has 10% off apple computers . 3 day deal. It was at maroochydore in qld . Cant confirm other stores. Its stacking time

  • Any limit on how many gift card we can use per purchase? Like use 7 giftcards to buy an iphone?

    • No limit in store. Online is probably capped at 5 or 10

Just tried it online. Max is 6 gift cards.

      • So $1,200 + 10% on top or $1,320 off the cost…

Interestingly you could nominate higher amounts off their website.

  • Just called myer. They restrict limit to 6 gift cards per transactions. Anyone know if there is giftcard limit on myer online?

    • That’s not what I was told over the phone. The example the agent used was “if you had 100 cards with $1 left on each…”

    • 6 cards in store? Really? Can I return gc to woolly? I got all 100s

      • ONLINE !

    • +3

I called Myer Karrinyup (In Perth) and was told there was no limit in store. There is a limit online however.

      • +2

Yes I can confirm no limit in store, used many gc in store today, if anyone still looking for more gc, warrigal & underwood still has plenty of $100, no $200

    • Not sure about that restriction as you could simply use up all six gift cards (plus a CC) to buy and item then immediately return it and you will be refunded your GC costs onto a single GC then rinse and repeat.

Just brought a macbook pro with both the 10% off instore and the bonus 10% on the gift cards. 26 gift cards no problems.
After TRS refund next month brings the saving to about 29%

Hey guys when buying the gift cards with this extra 10% bonus can you do it all yourself at the self-checkout and it automatically loads the bonus amount to the card?

Or do you need to purchase with a staff member or go to the service counter to activate them?

    • to be safe just go to a counter and pay there since they give you confirmation slip of your gift card

    • I've done both, when I did $200 at the self register the system flagged for a staff member to confirm, it did spit out a receipt/confirmation of your purchase. Nothing on the receipt will show the extra value though, I had to scratch the code on the spot from one of the cards to check online to make sure it had the extra 10%.

  • I'm looking to get a iPhone Xs, anyone with staff discount can PM me? Maybe we can work something out ;)
